Been following the squad for 10 years now, maybe more. I promise I ain’t nobody important and I don’t know E personally so he doesn’t owe me a listen, nor does he have to take heed to anything I say. I know I may get hit up by many of his followers that will jump to his defense and I get it. But I feel like there’s a subtle sense of pride that’s presently rising, and not a good form of pride. And it’s not from just this episode that I feel like I’ve been hearing it. I don’t know this man’s goings or comings, his ups or his down, I’m just speaking on what I’m hearing and what’s in my spirit. I could be wrong. I could just be one of those first floor dudes he’s talking about. I’m not rich, nor am I a dynamic speaker that has spoken in front of thousands/millions, so I promise I’m not coming from a malicious place. I’m just not hearing the E from “A King’s Return” or from the 50th birthday episode (Kayaking With Dave). The bros are the kings of self assessing so I know if it is some destructive pride creeping in, God will check him on it.

A lot of great stuff in this conversation only thing I don’t agree with is “don’t listen to a person who doesn’t have people on payroll” that’s a stretch comparing to what he’s trying to say but that’s my opinion.

I think that may have been a personal thing for HIM, not necessarily a universal principle. He's on a level where that is a valid qualifier...for HIM.
