So this videos what you made last few weeks are vwry vwry help full, I m palyng everyday on violin, on weekdays working with on weekends praticing, not a lot still because of injurny but I start it...I understand that I have to buy a better instrument for growing and I have make rehabilitation exercises continuosly if I would like to pratice more...def need a better imstrument

That was interesting Henriette one piece that's brand new one that you're practicing in the developmental stages and one that you are perfecting. Working on three pieces at one time. Sorry that's not a question you actually told me something I didn't know I was wondering LOL

I’ve had a violin for less than a week, and am still searching for an instructor. I don’t know where to put my fingers to play a scale, and none of the scale videos I’ve found zoom in on the fingers, which is really frustrating. In any event, when I try on my own, and place any finger on any string, the volume seems to be greatly reduced, and the sound is awful. Not scratchy, but something akin to a child’s slide whistle. I’m missing something, but am too green to even guess at what to try and correct. I did invest in a nice student violin at the Kennedy Violins store itself, and not just something random from Amazon. Help me, ProAm Strings! You’re my only hope! 😀

Do you have rosin on your bow? Are your strings tuned or too loose? It sounds to me like you may be one of those people who may benefit from some help to get you going. Happy to take a look with you if you book an online lesson or I suggest you find someone local to get you started. Good luck!

I have 4th injurni with violin and burned out, Im 3 years every week day play al the long same piecie for children, I m working on rehabilitation, planing to buy better instrument start Suzuki 3 and working on way to take a break in everyday the same thoing playing and to learn how to hold that violin to not got injurny....but I start to hate it because make me pain and because I always get with him ond the bottom off the life pit

Hope you get better. I was dealing with pain in my neck and shoulder from playing the violin. I purchased the wolf secondo shoulder rest. It has helped me immensely. Now i can get in 2 hrs of practice per day without lots of pain. Maybe a new shoulder rest can help you.
