I have an old Quicksilver Denim Jacket in brown, and I mean OLD, passed down from my grandfather who likely got it in the early 70s-80s. This thing is 100% denim and made in the USA, the most comfortable one I have while remaining tough enough on the outside to protect me from cuts without even being visibly harmed 99% of the time. It's got cuffs that fit well, but the sleeves have a huge diameter to wear additional layers of clothing under them, but they also would probably help if I got caught by the arms since there's enough room to move and turn around. Such a practical, stylish and comfortable jacket.

But keep in mind, nothing is worse than a leather jacket made with shitty leather. Absolutely no deer or lambskin. If it's described as 'buttery soft' it's for women. You want a jacket made of horsehide or goathide if you're too frail for horsehide.

I found a cow suede bomber jacket with a silk interior from Eddie Bauer in 1960 it’s the camel / tan color and it’s better than any jacket I’ve ever tried today. I’d probably pay $600 for a jacket made like they used to in the 60’s. I love vintage clothes. It’s crazy to me how a jacket can be 3x the age of me and still look new.
