Had this for a spell and run it into the Notaklon. It's the OD sound I was chasing. Never cared for Tubescreamers or Blues Driver. I really like this one.

@60CycleHumCast The left "Sweet" setting you prefer sounds a lot like a plexi in my opinion. Your pedal is really a kinda 1 and done. It really hits most of the overdrive tones. Well done. I could see myself owning one soon.😃😃😃

Got my 50/50 yesterday. Very prompt shipping BTW. Havnt tried it yet, still deciding what to take off the board. Been running a current reissue 250 and a Looking Glass, cant decide if I want to keep the LG on the board since the 50/50 is two sided and might can do the low gain thing as well as the LG. Will prob just replace the 250 first and see. Would be nice to free up another slot tho.

The 250 is my preferred stacking overdrive. I play heavier stuff. It would be great paired with a tube screamer type pedal.

Does it retain the bouncy bass sag that the original 250 reissue has? My main gripe with other 250's I've tried is that they don't have the bass! Including the JHS and Mosky versions, they just lack the bass! I know the EQD version adds bass, so maybe that's the way to go... But this one seems so much better. Yet, I need the b a s s.

I have those same two Alabs pedals!! I just got the Timeslip and love it. I run them into an Orange and a Vox and all my friends are jelly.

I got them, too. They're awesome. I run my JHS 3 Series Oil Can Delay into the Cetus Reverb. It's amazing together.

@@joellebrodeur1015 ooh.. I bet an oil can delay into the Cetus is amazing. I have all my modulation pedals in the effects loop of my orange and have an ABY before the orange to send the dry signal straight to the R in on the Timeslip, then to the Cetus. The rest of my modulation pedals don’t bleed over to the Vox which makes for a super nice small wet/dry stereo setup.

Pedal looks great and sounds great, but I find it strange that to my ear it makes the Fuzz less fuzzy. Like it calms it down a bit, even though presumably you are adding gain. Not a bad thing, just unexpected.

The AT+ is a modded Marshall in a box. The 50-50 is 2 DOD250 circuits. How are these even close?

It sounded similar to how I use my at+. You have two gain stages that you can stack together. Which is how I would use your pedal. Have one side set up as low gain and the other as a boost to push it into high gain territory as a lead tone. I understand there are tonal and circuit based differences. But as a utility I could use them both to get to to where I'd want to be

Sweet setting ? I'd have called it Harsh. Gnarly transistor , or in this case SS diode , high, odd , breaking glass harmonics . Its seems weird to me that as basically a clean player, you like this kind of sound. Not a joke here , but if you see a 60s Champ size Gibson SS amp at a yard sale get it. Cranked it sounds like that. Below that it stays clean. When I played my Princeton ultra low volume thru an Altar power soak so as not to wake the kids, Id use the Gibson from the line out to bring back the highs lost to the speaker not being pushed enough.
