Very awesome. Later this summer were upgrading the living room tv to oled and we have 2 brands to choose Samsung and LG and were leaning towards LG because of the gaming features for when I have to stay home and watch the dogs during a weekend. :)

whats this tv like for just watching normal tv ? and also whats it like for streaming youtube videos that are lower than 4k does the tv upscale the image much where you notice the difference?

Just got the 77", it'll be my first oled and I was on the fence bc it's my pc monitor and scared of burn in but hopefully it treats me right 😂

I am fortunate enough to have a 65"G3 in my downstairs area and a 55" G3 in my bedroom and they are honestly incredible. Thinking of upgrading my C3 to the new G4 in my living room. Wall mounting these are a joy, very simple and sturdy. I have owned alot of TV's over the years and LG's G series wont dissapoint.

Lg cons. They literally selling you premium price device and by default turning on all the "sell your data" Enjoy having any lg product with audio/camera/sensors, all your data, your nude video and photos getting uploaded to their server by default, and also your data sold to others by lg by default

@fantasytky28 Look the best thing you can do right now is buy up Gucci stock or Enron. Huge gains to be made and at never to be repeated prices. Do this and you'll never need to worry what TV to buy. Right or wrong you could own the entire manufacturering conglomerate. LG, Sony, Samsung. The holy trinity. All three. I am sorry I can be of more help.

Thanks for reminding me that the LG dealership in my country only brings the C series not the B not the G only C. I'm stuck with my C9 for the foreseeable future. The C9 is still great but a man has needs.

It is still OLED, so there is a chance of burn in. It still use their WebOS, so limited app support.

Cons are the fact that its marginally brighter than the G3 and more expensive, but everybody will hype the new stuff, like always.

@@kenneth_jensen Burn in is not an issue anymore unless you're a static news watcher. The LG have excellent built in protections & a 5 year warranty for G4. Not sure a single soul will spend 4500 on a tv and not use a apple tv/ streamer device.

In the C series it's def not a massive upgrade, sure better CPU et brighter image but it's mostly the G series since the G2 up to the G4 that has come a long way. Swap your CX for a G3, sure, you'll be blow away.

Im so undecided if i go with the new Samsung QN900D vs this new LG OLED G4 or the new Bravia 9 I’m so going crazy I wish someone could help me a little bit out here , I will be watching in a dark room not to much light coming in, but I don’t want eye 👁️ restraints and I’m sensitive to very bright lights those two factors are very important here in my final decision…. I saw the Samsung QN900D very impressive so is the Sony Bravia 9 with all the sound cinema experience but what will I get form this G4 ??

sony has amazing speaker in built which this lg lacks, web os is not that good, sony has less hdmi 2.1 port way overpriced, qn900D has way less brightness and lesser picture quality than the other two.

Would just get the G3, for the money £1800 for 65 g3 £2600 for 65 g4. Not enough in it for me to for the price jump, needed more upgrades to warrant the price difference.

@@Thetechchap that is true about the 97” although I was speaking to the LG rep and he told me that @97” MLA or brightness booster max as he called it is need and assured me that the 97” G4 would be plenty bright and much brighter than the 97” G2 and the 97” size would be available later in the year at least here in Canada, maybe sooner elsewhere but nonetheless I wouldn’t pay that kind of money for it and I’m looking at either the 83” G4/M4 or the 85” Samsung QN900D

i own the GX 65" since October 2020 and I see no reason to replace it. Saying that, my next TV will definitely be another G series at 77". The way they sit on the wall just makes them look better than any other TV out there. I still remember seeing it for the first time in John Lewis and deciding that will be my next TV.

If you don't mind, can you answer some questions? What's your use pattern of the TV? Do you leave it on for long periods of time? Do you watch TV Channels on it? And is there any burn in yet?

@@mihirojha4475 no I don’t leave it on. It’s on 3-5 hours a day when someone is watching and turned off the rest of the day. You re asking about burn in? Haven’t had any.

Anyone else has issues with DTS:X when connecting to an LG Soundbar? I have the 77' C4 + LG S95QR which both advertising to be compatible with DTS:X over DTS-HD MA over EARC which it doesn't. Wow orchestra works fine with Dolby Atmos but not DTS:X :( It does work if you connect your external devices (in my case NVIDIA Shield) directly to the soundbar but than you will lose the WOW orchestra option. Very disappointing.

@@dazzaw4681 dont listen to this guy mate. Go have look in store s95d looks more 3D than G4 in store especially with all the reflection in store you can see the difference. G4 looks like it’s in inside a glass cage while s95d look 3D with no reflections on it

6:23 This is the difference in the a three-dimensional of g4 The g3 image is flat. It is the result of tone mapping differences that are as important as brightness. This is the best TV of 2024. Adoration

HDMI 2 hardware issue not being mentioned by another reviewer shocker. Use an internal app like Netflix for 10-15 mins then switch to something connected to the hdmi 2 port like a ps5 and see if the picture is distorted.

The place also was at the time offering a bonus deal with products, and the 83 G4 had $1,400 worth of free credit if purchased that week. So ended up only paying $6300 AUD, instead of $9995 AUD

good to see WOLEDs are getting better, though i'd definitely still lean towards QD-OLED for their superior color reproduction, especially given the great prices you can find the samsung QD-OLEDs at nowadays

dont use the word superior loosely when comparing G4 there are many, many times where the G4 looks better than than the S95D (QD Gen 3) TechWithKG does a ton of comparisons in multi hour streams where you see this. Yes QD on paper & factually has a wider color gamut but the G4 has superior picture processing and it shows.

Dude stop being over dramatic, QD's are no way at all superior. I have an s95D and a C3 you can hardly see the difference and that's side by side. Plus samsung's build & parts quality is very average.

I prefer my 55” B3 it’s much cheaper and also OLED which is awesome by design. 600nits is fine for most people, I have HDR brightness at 70.

I had a LG OLED evo G3 until I cracked the screen smh lol. Amazing picture quality though, going back to clearly inferior screens is a huge letdown after you've had the OLED evo experience.

Totally agree. I've just swapped to an LG Evo G4 and it's somehow even better.
