Hi guys I'm new to hazama and I'm having trouble with one of his combo challenges. Can you guys tell me how to do vengeful viper, dash rising fang into 5b?
@Zakoizuka9842 жыл бұрын
qwq micro-dash fast as hell until it happens
@hazzydahaka132 жыл бұрын
Try buffering the dash motion a little bit before rising fang fully recovers. You should then dash on the 1st possible frame to make 665B possible after that.
@jaycentVT2 жыл бұрын
watch the animation of hazama's jacket. After rising fang you see hazama's jacket flap downwards. After it finishes the animation that is when i input microdash 5B
@midenarithmos92002 жыл бұрын
First thing I used to do is check when can I dash after doing rising fang, get used to the timing of rising fang > 66 first. When I find the timing and consistently do it, I then tried chaining it with 5B after (or 5A first to better ease the learning and chaining the attacks) I usually start microdashing after the rising fang sfx just about to be done like, near the end of it.

Can someone explain, what "5" mean on 665? Which button is that?
@persondeadtoshame9 ай бұрын
I’m 7 days late, but l’ll provide my input. “5” in this context means neutral, not moving, not pressing any movement keys. Since “6” is forwards, and “4” is backwards, “5” is just no movement at all. So, 665B would be like inputting dash, then pressing B while NO LONGER PRESSING forward/6 (this is because forward B/6B for Hazama is a completely different move than 5B/normal B/neutral B). I might have made it sound complicated, so if you don’t understand still or happen to have more questions regarding these weird numbers you see in fighting game combos, Google “numpad notation”.

Fighting game input syntax uses numbers to represent the different directions, using the orientation of numbers on a keyboard's numpad. So it goes like: 789 456 123 So, for example; "2" means "Down." So in this case, "6" is "Foward," and "5" is "Neutral," (or in other words, not inputting anything.) So "665" means "Forward-Forward-Neutral."
@izayoiigames34678 ай бұрын
@@mr.kittysavestheworld695 ok but why we need to metion 5?
@mr.kittysavestheworld6958 ай бұрын
@@izayoiigames3467 Actually a good question. The reason is simple: You need to be in Neutral before you press B, otherwise you'll do the wrong move, because 5B and 6B are different. The Neutral needs to be notated, otherwise someone reading it will have no way of knowing they need to do that. This is because of how fighting game syntax works. If a directional input and a move input are directly next to each other, that means you're supposed to press them at the same time, which would cause the wrong action here. If an input says "66B," that reads as: "Forward-Forward+B." This results in performing a 6B. But the input 665B says: "Forward-Forward-Neutral+B." This results in performing a 5B, which is the correct one.
