I now sell beats with zero social media. It wasn't until i quit making youtube vids and using Instagram that i started to succeed. Idkw but keeping my head down and building connections helped me more then a ton of content because it made me focus on the music not how i looked or how my brand looked

@wojciechsawicki4733 what i ment was I dont advertise on socials, youtube or use a website. I just email labels and ad companies and use the connections ive made online and in person. Luck plays a factor in my honest and humble opinion

That's some real talk! I feel like having content on social media nowadays is more to show people that you're serious about your work and showcase the value you can bring rather than actually reaching tons of people through that content. I look at it as something that increases your authority with the people you build personal connections with. Takes lots of time and energy though, if you're not into that kind of stuff. Keep going bro! Looks like you've found your way. 🐘😈

@@wozzbeats You have to set your priorities right and have to be aware of how you set them. If you need to work much in your job to get food on your plate, than that's your main priority. Don't see it as an excuse bc the time you spend in your job is literally that what lets you survive. But you have to set your priorities in your free time. If you want to make it as a producer, you need to think about if you just want to be on TikTok or Netflix to be enterntained (or other relaxing things) after work. Or do you want to put this time into creating your beats and paving your way to someting big. Both of these options are totally ok and legit. And if you decide for one of them it's no excuse but your decision for what's the best for you. Getting enterntained and relaxed is also really important after a long day of work. But as I said you have to be aware of the consequenses of your actions and be careful of what you do with your time. If you want to be more productive then you need to make a time schedule of how long you are relaxing and how long you are making beats after your work. You need to find a good mix of both bc if you try really hard to do or not to do one of these you're gonna end up unsatisfied. Just be aware of what and why you are doing something and set your priorities, bc then you won't be seeing sth as an excuse anymore but as a less-valued priority. All the best for you Bro and keep grinding!

Rate this bro i used to watch you and the uk man all the time before actually making beats, in school 2015 i learnt the basics but never really got to do any creation as i finished, didn't touch or think about music for years until like 2018, made beats for 2 - 3 years learning and trying different genres finding the beats i like to make before i even showed anyone anything i felt was actually good, watching you and the guys vids has helped elevate my mindset, my production rate, and ethic to music creation so thank you man fr you gotta give the flowers where its due coz yous are more than producers, teachers not gate keepers!
