Fun fact about Celica's Astral, if you speak Japanese and have the game's audio set to said language, you would realize she is trying to heal you, but accidentally tells Minerva to kill you, so you died because of a miscommunication.

The thing with Celica is a there's a joke in ONE of her Astral Heat quotes, BUT ONLY IN JAPANESE. She say "Itai no Itai no Tondeke", which that translates to "Pain, pain, fly away", which is an expression that mothers says to their children when they get hurt. The thing is, since Minerva is a robot, she must hears "Tondeke" (Fly away) and immediatly changes to a jet form, and them dive bomb the opponent, killing them.

Diplomatic immunity also doesn't protect you from Miles Edgeworth. Maybe that's why Doom greets Phoenix with 'In Latveria, there ARE no Lawyers! Only corpses!'

Heck in Project x Zone 2 M. Bison tries to have him assassinated because he's afraid to lose against Phoenix in court meaning he can't blame all the shit he's doing in the game on Heihachi. Who by the way saves Phoenix in the beginning for the exact reason of defending him in court from being aquitted for Bisons Crimes. So yeah, Phoenix in court is dangerous to anyone.

I have a few that are embarrassing: Deadpool (MVC3): He whacks you with his health bar and then home-runs you with his hyper combo meter... yeah... Peacock (Skullgirls): during her special “Goodfellas”, she stuffs the opponent into a sack, calls on her cartoon gang to stomp on you. After that, she smokes a cigar and walks away as a bomb beats the opponent with a bat, then tosses the cigar onto the bomb, detonating it like a nuke. Hercule Satan (DBZ Budokai 3) Hercule will punch the opponent a few times, doing no damage. He then concedes, and if the player wins the timed button pressed, he gives a game to the opponent as a gift. It is then revealed the “game” is a bomb, and Hercule detonates it.

That bit with Cassandra reminds me of the time I won 10 matches in a row using Seung Mina at a Soul Calibur 2 tournament, only to have my ass handed to me by a 12 year old girl using Cassandra.

Josuke Higashikata in JoJo All Star Battle is my favorite. Similar to Celica's, Josuke heals you up to full health. He immediately sends out a barrage of punches to send your health back down to where it was and then some. While bad enough on its own, it's especially humiliating against the character Johnny Joestar... a cripple. As when he heals him, Johnny regains the use of his legs and stands up, only to be re-crippled by the barrage of punches. Which I honestly think is more humiliating than being instanly killed...

Who keeps brutally attacking an old man over and over again? How is the other guy he's fighting supposed to be a "good guy"? When you fight an old man; who's also crippled, it kind of weirdly enough, makes you look like a delinquent, oddly enough! While I know very little about Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, I'm sure trying to fight an elderly man who's unfortunately lost the use of his legs; probably ISN'T a good idea, but I'm sure nobody told Josuke that, and he just LOVES fighting, especially against old dudes, am I right!?

Ares' super move was the most humiliating in Injustice. He teleports you a barren wasteland, points at you and laughs, upon which thousands of arrows are shot at you from the horizon. He then turns massive and squishes you under the palm of his hand. He doesn't hit you or kick you, but SQUISHES you like an ant. Shang Tsung's joker fatality and Ermac's fatality where he shrinks you and stomps on you and rubs off the blood and guts from his boot from MK9 were humiliating as well. As well as Johnny Cage's movie set fatality from MK11.

Hyena in KOF Maximum Impact has a Super Move where he would just walk towards his opponent and goes down in a hit with a fake KO screen as well. He would then jump back with a kick that would be easy to fall victim to if you aren't expecting it. There is no indication of it activating aside from the user's meter being deducted. So if you aren't paying attention, you might get hit by a goofy looking guy who faked his death while you have already put down your controller, thinking that you've won that round.

As somebody who has played most of the Ace Attorney games, I will tell you that Pheonix always finds a way.

That's true. Coming from someone who's also played the majority of Ace Attorney games. Nick will always find a way to succeed. Especially in the final case of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. Where he somehow knew Kristoph was jealous of Nick, and and spiteful, because the client chose Nick instead of Kristoph, and Kristoph plotted to erase Phoenix from the attorney world, by getting him disbarred, all because a guy refused to take his case. What a sore loser Kristoph is. I wished I could've played the recent Ace Attorney games, or seen the anime too, but japan only want to keep them to themselves. The Miles Edgeworth sequel game is also japan and Europe only. As well as the Spirit Of Justice game. Why do that to Ace Attorney fans the world over, capcom? Just hog all the Ace Attorney games to yourselves, you greedy corporate jerks. Guess that's why we'll never see another Ace Attorney game in the US. Maybe Nick will find a way eventually.

Zeh notification squid got spooked, previouzly, and disappeared in a cloud of eet's own ink. Now eet haz returned, it's confidence restored and eet's need to consume zeh views ever present. Oh my GAWD - Primal Rage!!! As a child, I spent hours playing that in a holiday camp amusement arcade in deepest darkest Cumbria to avoid having to spend any time in a caravan... there were no 'on brand' cabinets; no Tekken or Daytona... though if there was a dinosaur themed knock-off version of Daytona (Dinota?) I'd have been playing that instead.

I don't know if this counts, but Croagunk's burst attack in Pokken Tounament is kinda embarrassing. Not because of what it is, but because it somehow made your Pokemon faint. Essentially, Croagunk uses Double team, and all the clones dogpile on the enemy Pokemon, and explode as Croagunk salutes the camera (or maybe their trainer?)

Still going with Amane from Blazblue being one of the most embarrassing ones. He turns everyone young and even when it doesn't really do anything (See: Rachel) it STILL is his win. Plus, us players get to see a lot of cuteness
