I would think the 8th Kenpachi, Sōya Azashiro is probably more dangerous than Kurayashi's, being that Azashiro's bankai literally merges with ALL spiritual energy in the area. I swear I remember reading somewhere that he's basically like a Quincy in that way. Kinda like how Uryru was able to draw out the reishi (I hate spelling that word) of the walls of the Serietei to fire at Mayrui (again, I hate spelling these things), Azashiro was able to do that too.

Possible. We don't know the name of Zaraki's Bankai or Azashiro's shikai, so it could line up.

As a side note, Unohana's Shikai and Bankai have the same name, but are spelled differently. From Shikai to Bankai, Unohana is "肉雫唼(Minazuki)" → "皆尽(Minazuki)"

Kuriyashiki's Bankai is "Starving Odd Corridor" (perhaps it refers to the monsters summoned by the four worlds?). Azashiro's Bankai is "Urozakuro" (Uro(雨露) has the meaning of a vast blessing that moistens everything, and the flower language of pomegranate(Zakuro(柘榴)) fruit means "union", which directly represents the ability of Bankai). Unohana's Bankai "Everything come to an end".

⚠️ Strictly talking about the sword, not the user⚠️Kommamura probably wouldn't be affected as his bankai is unchanging & undying, as well as being directly connected to him. Although, the moment he uses his bankai he's on a timer. I do think a living bankai vs a dead one is indeed a kool matchup. KS only works on the user and if there's no environment for Aizen to manipulate, then this ability is nulled. Same principle as KS vs Urozakuro. Shinji's bankai can only affect the Shikai, if that. Bankai to Bankai shinji gets eaten alive. Lastly, Wabisuke only matters to metal, not living things. He says the heaviness of the sword is what weighs down the user and makes them bow, after continuous hits from it, the weight becames unbearable. All in all, I don't believe any bankai can win save for maybe Yamamoto, Kisuke and a few others whose powers affect the user or engulf the bankai itself and erase it/change it's makeup.

These creatures Don't have eyes so kyokasuigetsu will not work on them. Komamuras bankai can get damaged easy peasy. As these are creatures they get affected by shinjis bankai. Wabisuke power will also work on them bcz his sword make everything weighs double so it will work on them. And for Yamamoto's bankai they won't even stand a chance against zanka no tachi

And also, he was the only captain back in the day, tough as a war dog, he was killing vasto lordes. He would have been a real problem for Aizen in present day, if Azashiro didnt exploit the chance of Kurayashiki s Bankai being banned, so Uro zakuro killed this Kempachi in the most flamboyantly brutal manner possible. Even Kurayashiki s demise was badass. Other characters may have tragic and sad deaths, but if spirits are forever with You gets it's anime, Azashiro s rampage and Kurayashiki s last days would be a beyond awesome view, bigtime.

We learn about the 7th cause the 8th defeat him (quite easily), but he say's that he only won cause the 7th coudn't use his bankai. Fun fact, the 8th is probably one of the strongest character in bleach universe and actually the only other one locked up at Aizen level prison.@@dekipriestley9196

To be fair, most of the time we've seen the Seireitei they have been in a state of war when denying your officers the ability to go all out is a REALLY bad idea.

@@marcusreading3783 When I meant is that I've never heard, eitheir in the manga, novels, or internet that bankais were straight up forbidden at all time. We know that a few have been because of the massive consequences, but that's it. At the beggining of the story bankais were a big big deal, so they were presented as the ultimate force of a shinigami, only to be ised in case of an emmergency, but there were never banned per say. You probably missinterpreted the lore. And the ones that are banned were because they were global attacks, meaning out of control. We've only known soul society in trouble / war because that's what the story requires, but it doesnt mean the reason they werent using it all the time before is because of a ban from central 46 or anything, it was simply pointless. All captains besides squad 11 have to pass an exam infront of 3 people. First one is captain commander, and 2 other additional captains, and show them their bankai as an test to have the right to become a captain. If any bankai is deemed to dangerous, it will be known to atleast 3 of the gotei 13 high class members and be banned afterward. But nothing suggest that all bankais are banned inside the sereitei. And the soul society arc pretty much proves that they arent, since we discover a whole bunch of them already, inside the court.

@@J.c410 I think that theres a difference between 'you are not allowed to release your powers in this area' and 'you are banned from using your powers in this area'. Think of it like the difference between firing a gun vs setting off a bomb. Most Soul Reapers powers would be the gun, they wont cause much damage, but they will cause disruption and thus, you shouldnt be setting them off if you dont need to. On the other hand, a bomb WILL cause a lot of damage, so setting one off will have far more serious consiquences. On the other hand, there are places you can go to train with both guns and explosives, which the Soul Reapers would logically have. Make sense?

Well, with Zanka No Tachi it's probably due to Yamamoto immense reiatsu rather than the bankai itself, also it takes times. The seventh it's a one shot deal.
