I am so happy that I found your channel! My partner's native language is Edo and I am really interested in learning it. Great video, some of the sounds are also present in my language, I will try my hardest to master the rest of them and learn a lot. I am going to check the book too :)

Both. It's just a matter of variants in pronunciation. I actually grew up saying "ya". But I do understand your point.
