The Carolwood Estate rests on four acres in Beverly Hills and includes the tunnel Walt Disney built for his steam engine train.

Disney never stepped foot in that house, as it was built in 2001, he just owned the property. "The Carolwood Estate’s current owner is Gabriel Brener, chief executive of private investment firm Brener International Group and co-owner of the Houston Dynamo soccer team. He purchased the property from the Disney estate for $8.45 million in 1998, a year after Lillian Disney’s death. Brener razed the original house, reportedly replete with asbestos, and erected a brand new 35,000-square foot mansion in 2001. He also acquired the lot next door, adding more acreage."

This isn't where Walt Disney lived. His house was knocked down and this monstrosity was built on top of it.

You guys are always clever and deceptive. 1.) This estate isn't worth $90M. 2.) You also said this is where Walt Disney slept... this home was built in 2001. He was deceased 35yrs prior to this date. He may have owned the land, but never slept in that house.

This property is OVERPRICED and I hope no one pays that exorbitant amount of money for it. Prices like this is what RUINED the real estate market two years ago and caused the crash of the century! Overpriced homes, crooked loan agents, corrupt real estate appraisers and greedy real estate agents together equal a market GUARANTEED to crash.

Somebody needs to fact check this place. As I understand it the house Walt Disney built for his wife, Lillian, was sold after his death, leveled, and another house was (possibly this one?) on the site. They may have kept the tunnel and Lillian's famous roses, but the salesman words himself very carefully. This house was built in 2001; Walt died in 1966. I very seriously that Walt ever slept there. BTW: Zillow.com estimates this house is worht $18M. That's $72M worth of 'Disneyfied nostalgia.'

@RichardCroft196707116 жыл бұрын
Walt Disney never lived there it was built in 2001, there is little left of Walt & Lillian being there, if you take the Gates, an S shaped Tunnel where Walt Disney drove his scaled trains and some 70year old Roses kept by his Wife Lillian except for part of the location because the house next door was purchased to make up "Carol Wood " even Walt Disney himself wouldn't recognise the place at all, because it isn't the Building he owned when alive. The description is most misleading that this is the place where Walt Disney lived and slept and incorrect. They are only using Walt Disney's name to increase the Value of the property.
@esquibelle10 жыл бұрын
This is such an absurd price for 4 acres and an old house. This creepy hustler and "The Agency" are trying to overcharge about 85 million because Walt Disney lived there. Beverly Hills is not that great people. You still have to go down Sunset Blvd or Wilshire in choked traffic to get anywhere. It's the only part of LA that refused subway system, so now it's simply clogged with cars. It's not like it looks on TV.

Well, since it's a advertised as a " Disney property " probably they choose the more appealing realtor...... Casting wise speaking.... Or maybe he just started way younger..... OR he's the son of the real state company owner, who knows....... Does it matter? The house is amazing.... And for a bargain price too!!!

That realtor guy, Jay Brener Harris is the stepson of Mexican Billionaire Gabriel Brener. (you know, reclusive majority owner of the Houston Dynamo football, (soccer,) team?!) He's not even 30 years old and over the last 10 years working for, "The Agency," (which is the residential estate wing of Hilton & Hyland,) he's bought and sold more luxury estates in Southern California than anyone I know has ever even seen lol what WORLD does he live in?! Imagine waking up in the morning being that guy! What are his friends and family like lol and what do you think he does on the weekend, or even on a Tuesday?! After selling that Disney estate, he sold, "the Remington," estate for $3,200,000 one day and still has one $8,800,000 and one $7,950,000 active listings on the market to go lol like, that's his week! I'm clearly in the wrong line of work hahaha

I just want a small piece of property, and the peace of mind to know I can go into locally wooded areas and sing without being hunted or told what occurs when singing is done for long periods of time is immoral. Thank you, God’s Blessed you. And blesses us all to give us the free range of his fields, but still let’s us remember we have to take his words seriously if we want to be part of his kingdom and bear the name he’s given us, holy. This starts with equity. You’re shooting for the moon hoping for a mansion, you’d be better off praying all to have property be it big or small. And not to stress to death worrying about how to keep said property (IE; the system in place)
