The A10 has come to Sunny Valley

So the A10 is now available in Sunny Valley, it has an extremely robust and powerful armament, its a bit difficult to fly and needs a custom built runway since none of the maps are open and flat enough to allow for a good take-off, this most likely will never come out as a public vehicle due to how insanely strong it can be in the right hands, just like the KA-52 it will remain a dev testing vehicle even if it comes to Multicrew Tank Combat 4.

4x AIM-9M Air to Air Missiles (Controlled by the Pilot)

fyi, the AGM-65 is implemented, but it functions similarly (if not exactly the same) as the SPIKE, kh-35, kh-38mle, or kh-25 lock on missiles (kh series on the ka-52). You need to lock on, otherwise it does not fire as a projectile, and instantly 'dissipates', as it has not locked onto anything. Locking on is really wonky for the a-10, and i dont think it work, but the agm-65 is implemented. Also for some reason the gau-8 in-game only fires solid shot AP, but irl it fires a belt with HE-I and AP-I, or in later variants, APFSDS Depleted Uranium rounds, which is kind of odd but as you said it's unfinished. Also the landing gear are really goofy lol

At the time I'm pretty sure even with lock it was not possible to fire the missiles, I tried off-camera and couldn't get a lock but maybe it was because of the wonky sights.

hey, im the one who made the gun profile for the gau 8, What sources did you use to come to the conclusion that it fires APFSDS? it is currently using the PGU-14/B Armor piercing incendiary round with a depleted uranium core, which was all i could find in terms of armor piercing ammunition

@@rightaxlebroken4835 very bad sources apparently, i've done some better research and it wasnt apfsds, it was APCR and APDS (i think it was primarily apcr) but correct me if im wrong. Also i came to the conclusion that it DID use apfsds because there's a 30mm apfsds round, and ive seen some sources state that it did fire, but now that ive done research, sabot's wouldnt be good on the a-10 since it might do some not-so-good things with the engine once the sabot was discarded and the covers come off, but yeah i was misinformed. Sorry.

@@Barto7_ Im pretty sure it should be fixed now but the a-10 is now completely broken since you just cant take off, the thing flips, and its completely unusable in general. I dont know if it can lock or not now, but the camera is fixed from what i saw the last time i used it.

This is most likely just a dev vehicle like the Maus M, KA-52M and Sep V9 (and possibly the upcoming PL-01), the maps are way too small to comfortably fly these things around and the armament they get is insanely powerful so I don't think it will ever become public.

@@Barto7_KA-52 has a high quality model and a lot of scripts, and there is Tiger UHT for eagle. They WILL add strike helis. They are also adding 2S6 Tunguska, to (obviously) counter heli and (maybe) strike aviation. And also thry just added the sandy place and dustwbowl V2, they are HUGE, right for strike aviation and helis

Hold shift to increase throttle, it wont show you the speed it'll just start going forward, when you're going fairly fast lift the nose of the A-10 to take off.

Why are the devs so focused on making new shit that breaks the games balance when there is still shitloads of bugs. I’m a mobile player and drones don’t work, every time you join a new game and you get into a new vehicle (example is a BTR-82) you press the fire button once and as soon as you let go and press again, it now won’t work again so you need to jump in and out to fix it For primary and secondary weapons, the buttons to fire constantly change for no reason so you gotta re-learn how to shoot a gun and also reset your muscle memory Often when you switch teams in the middle of a match, the buttons to shoot guns don’t even appear so you need to leave and rejoin to fix it. Resetting your score which now instead of being a measure of how good you are. You need to grind every match to get a survivable vehicle Helicopters don’t work at all on mobile These bugs have been in MTC for months, if not around a year and it’s frustrating how the devs like to focus on new and cool things for the sake of advertising their game and making it look cool while fucking over the current player-base, changing the whole balance of the game and not even polishing bugs which have been around for months
