In this video, I talk about the announcement of TEN new electric unicycles! Ok, it's actually nine EUCs and one new onewheel - the Onewheel GT-S Series. bro, you are so right, master pro can not only be a car replacement in the city but have enough range to go to the town over 100km away while $3200 onewheel riders will be driving to work and use their onewheels to park ferther.

Yes it’s worth it to buy a EUC over a onewheel every day The problem with him complaining about comparing it to a master pro is 13kg/28lb 😮 ok so you can’t compare them.

One Wheel is still in business? Who knew. I started Unicycling when considering a One Wheel. The EUC was the choice and I never looked back (or touched) a One Wheel.

@@BANGbucketHEAD like I said, you will never see a skateboarder ride a EUC and that’s exactly why onewheel is way more popular. I see onewheel riders every single day.. I have never seen a EUC rider once in my town. Its almost like seeing a unicorn lmao. If I wanted to jump ditches I’m taking my dirt bike. If I was a clown I’d consider a unicycle lol

You're totally right about the price of the GTs (better buy a Floatwheel adv!). But I think you don't get the point of a onewheeled skatebaord and why people prefer this over a EUC. It's like bitching about a skateboard because it has no bindings. The whole point of a skateboard is, that it has no bindings.

@@BANGbucketHEAD I’ve seen a lot people in the Floatwheel group comming from EUCs. And there are tons of people that are not interested at all in EUCs, but are interested in one wheeled boards. E.g. sk8er like me. For me a EUC is not appealing. It doesn’t offer what I’m looking for. Try to find a EUC movie that features as stylish tricks as The Float Life’s “New Normal”.

@@Eryktion the he coolest trick I've seen was a vesc where he flipped it and road it upside down. Almost every other board trick I've seen was just grinding or jumping and turning around. I just don't think one wheels have enough speed/power to get much air, and too heavy to manipulate in the air like other boards. EUCs are pushing the power and range, so they're getting harder to manipulate with all of the extra weight. At least they have shocks to land bigger jumps.

@@DarthTinderalla-qm9zw yeah, I know EUCs are much better for huge jumps. It’s not only about power, but also about the form factor. You can’t hit a steep kicker on a OW without braking, unless you use a remote control. But it’s a new sport and I‘m sure it will evolve a lot in the upcoming years. If you compare it to sk8boarding, onewheeling now is like sk8boarding in the 70s. We can’t even imagine how it will look like in 20 years. And it has a lot potential IMO. It’s interesting times right now to be part of it.

Don't forget the government is not going to let you have it until you give them $300 also. Then when it runs out of power you have the pleasure of looking cool walking around with a $3500 anchor. I'm a onewheel rider and I would have considered if they would have kept the price the same. Hopefully sales are horrible so they can bring the price down to earth. 🤞

Honestly, I am surprised that we have that many wheels announced an none of them is water restant with an IPX5 or better rating for the wheel. And most wheels are great and amazing already. Just make them weather resistant, easier to work on and change tires and get the small quirks out of them. I do realize there are some speed demons out there. But the EX30 mith a little higher battery packs (50s batteries too), a little better fit and finish and good water proofing would have been an amazing wheel. Yet they always want to be the next more powerful wheel. That is why leaper kim seems to still have a huge following: they improve where it matters. Just the waterproofing and ease of maintenance missing

what do you think comparing V11 vs KS S19? Just sold my V11 and I'm looking for a replacement as a commuter wheel, for doing errands, a lot of short trips.

The S19 is a bit more powerful, but personally I wouldn't go for it. There have been too many issues that plague this wheel, specifically that for the price tag it doesn't have the necessary power and has a very hard time reaching the advertised speeds. It has potential as a low speed commuter, but if I were you, I'd personally stick with either the Extreme, Patton, or Commander Mini for those sorts of tasks. I owned the V11 as my first wheel and liked it a lot, but personally I was ready for a power upgrade.

@@WheelGoodTime V11 has 2200W, 84V and 85Nm of torque. S19 has 3500W, 100V and 160Nm of torque so should accelerate way quicker. Have you personally driven S19? All I have is a theory because that wheel is not yet available in shops in Poland, you can just pre order it and receive it in few weeks. I understand that Patton seems to be better but I can’t buy it for a company as every offer I see in Poland is from private import so it makes the wheel almost 2x more expensive than S19. I don’t need that much top speed and I’m not sure if I’m going to like 40kg wheel. I tried riding Sherman-S and it’s a good wheel but just not for me as I’m not doing too many long trips and I believe Patton is just tiny bit more compact and lighter.

What about the inmotion V11Y refresh? Any opinion on that as a first wheel for someone coming from the onewheel community? I want more speed but think the GTS is not for me. I am an NYC street rider.

V11Y looks good! I think the T4 (or T4 pro) are better options but the V11Y still is a solid option. I transitioned from a OW XR to a V11 as my starter EUC.

Not trying to sound cynical, but comparing OW to EUC's is apples and oranges. I ride both, and while EUC's are great capability-wise, a OW is just so much more fun IMO.

@@kabosune9097 Most channels have to be taken with a grain of salt as they give their opinions. I'm OK with opinions but I have a problem with not staying on point with the discussion. If the title had said PEVs I'd be fine with his video but it did not, it said EUCs. I might have still commented on the OW Vs EUC comparison but would not have made any comment about subject discipline.

@@BANGbucketHEAD Not weird, and the OW remains more fun for me, in my urban street, under 20mph world. The Patton is turning out to be more relaxing, the OW requires being on alert all the time. In 3yrs the OW has put me on the pavement 7 times, the EUC never has.

*THIS IS JUST MY OPINION OF COURSE* the ow s series if for a TOTALLY different group of riders and it is not about the performance, it’s about the ride feel and tbh, suspension makes no sense for a onewheel. the kingsong pro wheels aren’t a disappointment. they are a great upgrade to their existing wheels which are the best on the market for non-enthusiasts and their main flaw was the lg batteries. also, HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT THE BASKETBALL!!! lol but yeah it is a pretty funny wheel and i can’t wait for the new 150+v wheels because they are great for enthusiasts

This is definitely from a guy who is never actually written a Onewheel, or at least one that’s out now. between the new settings and the new safety systems everything this guy is saying is pretty much moot. Plus, the price is pretty much on par with the performance and battery as the Onewheel has to have premium smaller parts to function. from a software and performance standpoint Onewheels are more advanced and can outmaneuver any other personal electric vehicle. From a safety standard Onewheels are also king. they are so intuitive with muscle memory. I’ve never seen one video of someone colliding into another person with it.

OWs are about as unsafe as it gets, especially now that they are getting faster. They are necessarily extremely unsafe because a single wobble at 20 mph will inevitably cause a crash. In an EUC you can actively stop a wobble at 50+ mph. I know this because I'm a former OW rider who realized there is much better, and safer, out there.

You're talking about the one wheel. G. T, S, but that only has a 12 to 14 milarrange. The one wheel GT with a 25 mile range starts at $2250. It's cheaper, but not as fast. One is built for speed and 1 is built for range.

I played around with the audio settings after recording because the voice audio came in too loud and sounded a bit distorted. So then I turned it down to reduce distortion and it made the video almost unwatchably quiet. So I turned it back up a little bit to try to make it better and it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted. Unfortunately I'd have to re-record the entire thing with different mic settings to make it clear and loud enough - the mic is actually very high quality. I'm always trying to make the best content possible and I apologize for not doing great at it this time. Thanks for your feedback!

I prefer EUC for transportation but as far as fun goes it’s onewheel all day… I’d compare the onewheel to a snowboard and EUC to a set of skies… The onewheel is so fun for tricks and just improving your overall riding skills… BTW the GTs goes about 40mph… I have went 32 on my standard GT which is fast af for EUC let alone a onewheel. I fully respect both and I believe both are 100% worth the money

@@WheelGoodTime that's just cope bro lol. what if you want something you can easily throw into your trunk and the most you can lift safely is around 50 pounds? what if you just don't feel like dragging a 100 pound mass down some steps just to grab a pizza or some toilet paper from the grocery store? what if you're a 100 pound girl who wants to shred trails? do we really expect em to regularly wanna lift 120 pound euc's into their trunks? lol a onewheel is 100x more convenient & practical than an EUC in terms of weight and it's not even close. it's easier to learn to ride and lighter. there was also a ton of bad information on what an XR can do vs what the GT S series will do. you were the one who said always, but it's clearly not always better. it's different for different people. it might be better for you but jfc the cringe is strong and extremely off putting. it makes me not want to ride or associate w/ euc people.

@justh0dl I'm a onewheeler (4500+ miles) and euc rider..I find onewheelers far more bigoted towards euc riders because they feel inferior due to their low powered devices yet refuse to try eucs as they claim they don't like riding anything other than sideways..imho it's unnatural to ride in a sideways twisted stance- not good for your body ergonomically.. we don't run/ walk sideways.. it's much more natural to move in the direction facing forward..I agree ows have their pros and place for portability but it's not a big deal putting an euc in the trunk..I have a folding ramp and just wheel it up and down in seconds. Again they're still small enough to fit in most trunks.. unlike ebikes, escooters etc..personally I only ride my ow on chill/ casual rides.. at festivals to get around or rides with a lot of starting or stopping (ows better at slow speeds) but for anything demanding for the most thrilling riding for doing much more for longer the euc is the way to go with much more headroom before exceeding the limitations making eucs much safer.. for me variety is the spice of life..I certainly prefer ows to the mten and even a2 smaller euc class. I find the latter sketchy af

@@justinspirational did you know that to be a UPS driver or work in most warehouse environments, the max weight any one individual can lift for liability purposes is roughly 50 pounds? Because if you drop it, someone can get seriously hurt. Anything passed that needs to be "team lifted". IE needs more than one person. Most EUC's that can beat or match the onewheel performance easily weigh significantly more than 50 pounds. E-skates that are comparable to weight to one wheels require a remote so it's not hands free and they break more easily as the entire board is usually made of wood. So that's not a straight forward comparison either. heavy EUC's are mainly for dudes who can regularly pick up heavy stuff. Young kinds, women or even your weaker than average dude would struggle to even get it out of the house even if they had a ramp of some sort. Fact is an EUC can slide down the ramp right into you if you aren't careful. It's an edge case but a very valid point for me. There's some guy who can barely walk and uses the onewheel as a mobility aid. I doubt he'd hace just an easy time on an EUC. Something like a onewheel pint X or XR is simply much more practical. Point is... To me, EUC riders need to stop being so insecure. Someone's onewheelers make jokes about the stance because it just simply doesn't look cool. EUC's have a place but they definitely aren't for everyone or better than a onewheel in every case. Every EUC rider knows more power = more headroom = more safety. But then rush to crap on th GT-S for offering that because it's more expensive than prices from 5 years ago. Like bro. Burritos are almost $20 now. They were like $7-$8 in 2018 when the XR launched for $1800 😂 Inflation sucks. That's not future motion's fault.

@@justh0dl imho and in actual experience onewheelers are far more insecure than euc riders. They have small dick syndrome as they feel inferior with their weak ass toys comparatively (& I still ride ows occasionally with almost 5000 miles on them).. it could be considered that grown adults riding toys look weird and not cool at all.. I don't think that but there is that perspective out there.. how could euc riders be insecure at all with far more powerful devices? Not possible . It's not insecurity at all . It's wanting to share the greater stoke we experience with others.. nothing more..the weight issue again is a moot point.. you don't feel it at all wheeling up and down a ramp.. no lifting required.. so the weight is irrelevant...the gt-s isn't $3200 because of inflation.. it's because it's made in the US which will always cost more than in China. It's also deliberately priced high as they aren't expecting to sell a lot as it's meant for racers..I still may get a used gt-s after a noob buys one injures themselves and gives up on ows.. but can't justify the price new considering what I already have euc wise. There is no contest performance wise.. I'm in the middle of vescing my cbxr ow and that will be enough for me for casual sideways stance riding

The onewheel gt is advertised at 20mph but it can go up to 30mph with a good rider. The gts may with all the power will get way over 30mph with double the amount of torque so its a big difference. My gt has double the torque of my xr and this will be the same going from the gt to the gts and weight 2 pound less. 33 pounds is very light for 113v. We will see how much less mileage we get from the gt but it will still be more than my xr and it will charge alot faster than a EUC (1h30 min) EUC and Onewheel are not comparable AT ALL. I use my sherman S for speed and long distance, my onewheel for everything else especially freestyle, sliding and just going out for a small ride without riding gear. I dont know why EUC guys try so much to get onewheels riders on their side. Onewheel is so much fun. EUC also but for me if I had to keep just one I would go with my onewheel. Still might buy a patton or v14 next summer and sell my Sherman S but I will get the GTS before that

Onewheels are technically more dangerous than EUC. You should be wearing gear when you ride them.

@@themadchemist2805 ive been skateboarding and dirtbiking my whole life, I did crash ALOT on my onewheel but its way better than missing a 60ft jump on my dirtbike or crashing at 40 mph on a EUC 🤣

Blah, once again EUC companies are only catering to the enthusiasts and off-road crowd. The only commuter wheels are old models with different batteries. I guess it's a good thing that I'm not in the market for another EUC at the moment.

@@Stan-kj8fq yeah I was hoping for new commuters as opposed to just changing the battery types. I'm really hoping for a modular commuter that is reliable, easy to do tire changes, and weather proof. There's not really anything out there that fits that bill that I'm aware of, so I keep hoping.

What about the T4( or pro), V14, Patton, or extreme? That's a good commuter for a decent price. Anything that bills itself as a trail wheel can do the job as a commuter pretty well.

@WheelGoodTime at that point your just retarded. Why not just ride a motorcycle.....the margin of safety is far greater and you can go 100mph+. EUC's as a commuter make sense, EUC's pushing 50/60+mph don't and neither does any other PEV that pushes those speeds.. You guys are going to ruin it for the rest of us escooters/eboarders/onewheelers/ebikes. I guarantee at some point there are going to be major crashes involving pedestrians/cars/children and when that happens, you bet your ass people will bitch and complain and the government will step in with the shittiest regulations/insurance/safety protocols.
