Snorkeling is horrible from the shore. You have to go out on a boat to get to the pretty snorkel sites.

Depends on the weather of course, but out at the reefs it was sparkling blue and super clear. Close to the beach it was more green and less clear.

Is there alligators 🐊 where you kayak ??

I didn't see any but that doesn't mean they're not there

Alligators are fresh water so they aren't in the keys. American crocodiles would be what you would encounter in the salt water
