Awesome breakdown. I'm just starting to do hard research for a trip I'm planning in....4 yrs. It's a little early but you almost have to start saving that far ahead in order for a $8-$10k trip to not give you a heart attack, and, my kids are only 4 so I got time. As far as value, I think if your going to the parks and are getting fast pass its almost a no brainer to go premier. Those things are over a hundred bucks on top of the ticket, per person, per day. For a family of four going for 4 days that's an insanely priced upgrade. Either way it's still a far better value than the mouse mafia.

I love loews sapphire. Its location is convenient and its a great hotel. I love staying at disney but since 2020 passed its just got too expensive and perks been eliminated, so i dont see the point of staying at disney. My recommendation is to stay at a lux premium hotel loews portofino, hardrock hotel, loews royal, book for 1 night and get the express pass for your family that day and when you check out you get express pass for that day aswell, basically 2 days with express pass for everyone in your room, depends on the limit of person the room allows, then just book a value hotel for the rest or your stay. get more out or your buck. The only issue is having to hop hotels so dont unpack everything. What i do is: Book in loews royal hotel and stay that day, get my express pass and book the rest of my days in loews sapphire. Since those 2 hotels are very close by, so i walk or take the boat taxi to the other hotel. That way, i get to enjoy the express pass on those 2 days. And save in the process

I stayed at Endless Summer Surfside in Jan 2023 ( 2 bdr suite) and had the best time! It was a little chilly for the pool, although it was very nice. We have UOAP and I found the discounts on the rooms and the limited express after 4 pm made the value resort a great choice for us. Hotel was clean, quiet and well appointed especially considering the cost. This August we are trying out Cabana Bay mostly for the upgraded pool situation! What are your thoughts on walking to Sapphire Falls for the water taxi? I have heard that this is an option? Can’t wait! Great video outlining all of the options!

Cabana Bay is a little bit of a walk from Sapphire Falls, not far at all. We always say the bus service is super reliable (and air conditioning). Either transportation option is great

No the express pass included in the premier resorts does not include Halloween Horror Night houses

Hey there! My husband and I normally do Disney and we are switching things up this yr by going to universal! I think all of these resorts are amazing. We are truly stuck between sapphire, Royal Pacific, and portofino. We have two kids, one being three and the other one being one. My gut is telling me the Royal Pacific is probably best and also the sapphire since we can walk to the parks easily and also both pools if we really wanted. My main question actually is do you think Express pass tickets are worth it when you have children that small? I've seen a list of all the rides that are eligible for the kids to ride. I am just for some reason still torn. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi! Thanks so much for checking out our video! I love both Royal Pacific and Sapphire and would say Royal Pacific is just as easy of a walk as it’s a bit closer. It really comes down to would you like the free express passes with Royal Pacific or save some money and go with Sapphire falls. Based on the age of your kids I do believe you’ll be okay without them unless you plan to use the child swap a bunch. I hope this helps!

Will the express pass at premier resorts be limited by Christmas? We are about to book to be there for Christmas and there for the first time. Any special tips for Christmas?

Hi Josh, the express passes are never limited by the season and Christmas is one of our favorite times of year to visit the parks and we will absolutely have a video coming out this year!

Hi! I'm planning of visiting Universal for about a week for my honeymoon with my wife on January, she says the water parks are gonna be closed cause it's like winter, or at least it´s not gonna be worth it... Same for Hotels that include big pools or the volcano with the waterfalls. Can you help me clear this up? Cause I'm not even sure man

The water park stays open 12 months a year, although it will close on particularly cold days - same goes with the pools at the hotels

My husband and I have gone in August 2012 (horribly hot- like mid 90s), January 2016(50s in the am, mid 70s pm), January 2018 (freezing- literally was 32° one of the days), and dec 2021 (70s & 80s mostly). Honestly we prefer it in January because you are outside a lot and if it's cold you can wear layers. It is also off-season so most everything is cheaper. The water stuff is hit or miss. We are planning to go back in December or January this coming winter.

Just for your info the weather in Florida is always super nice and even during the winter months average in the 80's. Only thing to worry is if a cold front comes by wich happens aroud 3 time per winter or so but even then they usually only last 2 to 4 days so you would have to be pretty unlcky to end up with one of those. You can definitely plan on the water park on your trip.
