+Nick Fenech Well they did during the season Phenom soundsport is using them now (academys sponsored soundsport) theyre heavy and really dont sound all that good anymore. theyve been abused
@nickfenech13868 жыл бұрын
+ethyl2551 I'm not just talking about Academy, I'm talking about all. My school uses them and they sound better than Blue Devils drums
@drumlineenthusiast92178 жыл бұрын
+Nick Fenech well, nothing sounds better than bd
@nickfenech13868 жыл бұрын
+ethyl2551 BD drums just sound like they're playing on paper. They're good, but pearl drums are kind of ass. Yamaha and Mapex are the best sounding

What is it with awesome BD guys going to Academy first? Is Academy like a pseudo-feeder for BD the way Troopers is for SCV? Brandon marched there in 2013, and then Miles Kenobbie in '15, and I'm not saying Academy is bad but for such awesome players they could have made better corps.

as a marching drummer to fellow marchers,,,how in the hell do you write/what notes is 4:50-5:00

+Sevion Craig I assume you mean the buzzing notes? the 2 common ways I have seen it was to write a trill over the note or add a staccato to a buzz stroke.
