By now the Wookie's body is covered with cobwebs and is missing an arm. Will any of the characters remember to check on him? Or maybe he wasn't even dead and has left on a sight seeing tour (I hope they tell us where and not say 'unknown planet'). No one knows about him and no one cares. Can it really be an unknown planet if he lives on it? He left it and came back so he must know it. He could just name it but since he doesn't have a name himself naming things might not be in his wheel house.

I can forgive logical inconsistency if it’s a good show. With the Acolyte, I have no good will left, and it’s difficult to ignore Padawan power level problems when I’m already exhausted by the rampant issues.

@@Vincentl2189 that's whole true. Every single movie in our history had some logical issues. But they were mostly not important when you look at the overall picture. Actually the Darth Maul scene was pretty good comparison in here but still it was mostly one on one duel ended with one enemy down. So as far as Maul was powerful, he was only able to fight and withstand two Jedi at the same time, not killing both of them in 2-1 combat. In Acolyte we have starting point of a Sith master or a freakin lord who is able to literally wipe the floor with seven Jedi Masters and padawans, killing most of them in 3-1 combat. And suddenly losing to a pupil and minutes later once again have a fair fight with pupil and a Jedi master in 2-1 combat? This was just completely broken. I always thought Dragon Ball power levels were broken but they were at least consistent. They just went up. Here it is a complete mess. You have no idea who is stronger or weaker or on par with anyone else at any given moment. That's why you watch that with that meh feeling. It is flashy, it is colorful, some moves were looking cool but it was still meh. And the other thing. What's with the music in this show?! Duel of the Fates have instant goosebumps attached. Just the first two seconds of the choir and people went crazy watching it. And here? I do not remember a single track. And it's Star Wars. It should be a feast for our ears!

I honestly don't trust critics who can't find at least one good thing about a terrible show or movie (and vice versa), which is something I learned from watching MST3K (one of the writers said that when they chose bad movies to mock, they always tried to find at least one positive thing about it, which really stuck with me), Like The Last Jedi was absolutely one of the worst movies I've ever paid money to see, *but* I at least liked the salt world at the end and the new alien creatures, and seeing Frank Oz come out of puppetry retirement. But I also grew up watching people like Siskel and Ebert talk out their reasons for liking or disliking movies, and you don't see much of that kind of discussion anymore, although the Almost Cult Classics podcast comes very close.

On the planet of "SCARIF" 😨😱🤯 I'm super excited for hula hoop light sabers and for Disney to start making authentically addictive Spice Creams available to the general public in time for halloween, because we really need to normalize withdrawal symptoms for the youth today. Those lightsabers look awful. Like light tubes not lasers, with those huge handles. Can't beleive they did it better in the 80s...

Good review, but this is no Star Wars. This is, at best, a crappy generic sci-fi. Next rotting on toy's isle shelves: - A generic space calculator cute robot that nobody cares, - A "rusty" shitty helmet with a smile so you look like Kylo Ren and Joker at the same time, - Action figures that sings "the power of maaaaany" and - A plastic lightwhip or laserwhip, or whatever dafuck this shit is called. #DisneyMoneyLaundering
