I love Ash’s point of ‘we love this stuff but others might not’. Legends and Wookieepedia goblins like myself, will eat it up, but I’m interested to see how the show will be received by more casual fans or newbies.

I know very little about the expanded universe but I love that this looks to be Samurai influenced, since the original Star Wars was influenced by Akira Kurosawa films. Darth Vader's outfit is basically a space Samurai. Looking forward to seeing this.

“Please be good”. My thoughts exactly. I love what I’m seeing so far. I also like that they showed so little. If they showed a lot to try to impress, I would be more wary. Yoda kicking ass in his prime would certainly get a big reaction.

The massive division these Disney shows/movies have caused is quite interesting. From what i can tell it looks like Star Wars fans left the party a long time ago, while Disney fans seem quite excited for anything Disney puts out. Its quite a shame really that Disney couldn't unite both Disney fans and Star Wars fans.

I’ve actually been avoiding all previews for new Star Wars content 😅 I like watching Star Wars movies or shows being totally surprised, and seeing everything for the first time. When does Yoda start looking like we see him in the first movie because this is a hundred years before that so he was still old by then, I would love to see a young Yoda and for him to be a punk badass that becomes the wise Jedi master that we know.

im going to say one thing, does abeloth have red dreadlocks when she is young then goes full white dreadlocks by end of her reign because if im not mistaken abeloth was at the beginning of the jedi and the end of the jedi their for she passes the same time as palpatine in number 9 on exegol or she gets cloned or she passes the torch on to her aprentice, may the force be with us all cause this is only going to be, one way out scenario

Thanks for clearing that up, I was wondering what time period it was going to be, kinda wish it was like 500 years before Episode 1. But this will be AMAZING. Yes I want the Old Republic. You said it Bryan in one of your vlogs, I think it was the lightsaber meet up, We want this many lightsabers vs this many red lightsabers, lol. I hope we get to explore more of this era and others. They could have done a story about Plagus and Palpatine but they didn't . Instead they choose a time in Star Wars where there's not suppose to be any Sith. Further disrespecting Lucas and what he created. I understand you guys are very positive and that's a great quality you both have but sometimes you have to be a realist.

I still remember your viewing of the vintage Star Wars Xmas special…. It did make me laugh, my friends reaction to it mirrored yours , the same body language and disbelief LOL you can’t see it anymore on Disney+ ! I can’t use the threat of watching it anymore so you need to preserve it! You should do a review of what you were thinking…. Or maybe not!

I am so excited for this show! I have been on board with the High Republic era since the first book came out. Your comment about finding a Jedi character to relate to did make me chuckle some, the High Republic books and comics are kind of the Star Wars equivalent of Game Of Thrones, I caution getting too attached to a character, it will mean their doom 😆

Right now fan service is mixed but I know I for one am excited to see how much they’re willing to explore of the sith, I really want them to explore some really dark characters like Darth Nilius (not sure if I spelled that correctly), Darth plageuis, as well as other characters. There’s a lot that they could branch out from here, I’m cautiously optimistic.

Im excited!!! This trailer was awsome seeing jedi fight using the force. Im happy to go to a time before the skywalkers. I hope we could see Yoda, Yaddle, all the older characters in the jedi order since they're old and have been around to see the jedi order in its prime. My real hope for someone to see is Darth Plagueis. He has to be around since he was Palpatine took him out during phantom menace (32BBY). Even a name mention I would love this since he becomes palpatines master. I would love if the Acolyte was a servant to Darth Plagueis to quietly have dark side users come out of hiding. We shall see!

I tried watching a livestream reaction to The Acolyte Trailer, but it decended into so much negativity about the diversity being shown in the modern iterations of the Star Wars brand that I removed the like that I regestered (I didn't leave a dislike because that could be seen by the KZfaq algorithm as engagement with that channel [which will remail nameless]), unsubscribed from the other channel, and immediately came to Always Believe to see what you thought.
