I try to delete the folder from my desktop. But this folder is not going to be deleted in any way. ‍see how to solve it. now go to Windows search bar. now type resource monitor. now copy the folder's name.
How do you fix this action Cannot be completed because the file is open in another program?. How do you force delete a file that is open in another program?

For me it was a file. I created a new folder, dragged it into that folder, and then deleted the folder. Seems like it worked. This happened to me once before and that time I put it into a RAR file and choose "delete files after archiving," and that did the trick.

You can just drag the folder to like pictures, the virus will not work anymore, if u have one. And delete it from your needed desktop tabs,

simple fix: retart your computer, then delete the same folder. It worked for me.

For me it was some windows explorer processes hanging onto the file, a computer restart would have fixed it just fine as well... That's on me for not trying that first

Howdy. Yeah. I believe the reason was a file or folder is locked to some system service. I would like to mention one possibility. Boot into Linux. I use an Ubuntu flash stick. Inside Ubuntu it should be possible to delete, since there is no service linkage. Regards.
