There are scopes for the snipers as attachments that give you a regular zoom sight. Yes, you can change your buildables in the full game. One more hour to go!

Thanks for the feedback, I think the screen recording method was skipping some frames :( - will make sure it is fixed for future videos. The game is awesome for sure, definitely check it out!
