Alia Bhatt is a new mother. She has not come for any roundtable this year. I would have loved to see her considering that she was.beyond brilliant in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Darlings. This is undoubtedly her year. Maybe Tabu could not care less about the roundtables. She is undoubtedly the best but she was not given enough credit for Bhool Bhoolaiya 2. Most termed it as Karthik's movie when all the weight lifting was done by her. Tabu lets her work speak for itself which is great. Goes to show that actresses are still treated as second class citizens not only by the movie industry but also by the so called intelligent Indian audience.
