A better question would be "who was the slowest lifter who still managed to be successful despite genetic disadvantages?" Take the supers out who can kinda muscle stuff up.

Donny shankle. Guy was crazy fast but really slow i felt, had he had more speed i feel he could have done much, much better

i mean we all most need 3 categories for this. Fastest overall, fastest turn over and fastest bar speed. All of them mean something a bit different.

Very interesting video! How about a video on the random mostly unmentioned achievements I sometimes hear you talking about? Like a "Most kg over double bw clean&jerk" or "Lightest over double bw snatch" type of lifts. I'm sure the loyal fanbase will be able to come up with similar things!

Maybe I am missing something, but why isn't anyone counting frames and posting actual times between positions (first, second, third pulls, contact, lockout, etc)? Unknown capture frame rates? Pure subjectivity of the time when someone might be making contact?

I timed many top lifters from the platform to receiving the barbell and Kakiashvili and Toma Loridana were the fastest. It is difficult to know the change in direction speed without some sophisticated equipment. When all is said and done it is who lifts the most regardless of technique, or speed.

Toma has a very good training speed. In competition I wouldn’t narrow her down to the top 2 fastest lol.. kaki could be debatable

How you gonna disrespect Mutlu like that? He did triple BW too. Not his fault no one pushed in comp. He was faster than Dimas when Strossen filmed him for Ironmind.
