I love that this is Walker's (young Adam) first movie. And that after they cast him, they found out that Deadpool 2 was his favorite movie, and that he could recite it word for word, which explains why he was so good at mimicking Ryan's timing and mannerisms

This was such a fun movie. If you look really closely, on the tote with the sports equipment (at the end, when they all played catch) there were stickers of both Deadpool and Hulk.

Also, some of the lines in this movie were like arrows to the heart. When he looked down at his younger self and said, _'You know, 30 years from now you'll still get sick to your stomach when you think of how you treated her now.._ Almost broke down.

It was like a 80’s Steven Spielberg movie. We need more like this one.

The bar scene between adult Adam and his mom gets me every time! It is so beautiful and powerful, you really feel every emotion from both of them especially Adam, he's on the verge of tears the whole time. In this one scene Ryan Reynolds and Jennifer Garner had great chemistry and I would love to see them work together again. She's a very underrated actress, she's always good, one of my favorites is from Juno, highly recommend and of course she is amazing in 13 Going On 30, it's kind of an older show now but she was also great in the series Alias, another very underrated show!

I'm travelling for work a ton right now. I saw this in a hotel room and immediately called and told my wife she needed to watch it with the kids...🥰

This movie had the vibe of Star Wars, Back to the Future, Timecop, Flight of the Navigator, The Kid, and Field of Dreams---all rolled into one!

People always seem to hate on Netflix films, but this one was cool...! A fun plot, really good work from all of the actors & actresses and a high number of genuine emotional moments with the mom & dad. Overall, an enjoyable & fun Sci-Fi story with alot of heart. For me Child actors got SERIOUSLY good in the early 2000's notably Dakota Fanning and Anton Yelchin in Steven Speilberg's "Taken" miniseries. Can't recommend that series enough, Narrated by the young miss Fanning it's a sci-fi extravaganza covering 2 families from WW2 to modern times and their experiences with UFO's. Another outstanding child performance is by Daphne Keen (Laura in Logan) and also her role in the HBO/BBC production of the Phillip Pullman book series His Dark Materials (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife and the yet to be released The Amber Spyglass). Think you guys would enjoy BOTH of them :)

Yeah there's a lot of amazing child actors these days. All you got to do is think about actors like the little girl on _Train to Busan,_ this kid, pretty much any of the kids on _The Walking Dead_ and so many others. Kudos definitely. A great movie I was in Texas when I saw this for the first time probably around a month ago when you guys were watching this and my uncle's Luigi decided to turn on these speakers in this room and turn them up and I could literally hear the floor the walls and the window all vibrating and the TV was less than 5 ft away so he has even though it was enjoyable I was in a room that was vibrating inside a very big house

he was trying to get back to 2018 to prevent Gamora from getting killed lol

As much as I loved Ryan Reynolds in this, i think the kid steals the movie; he does such a great job you can believe he is a younger version.

I wish also at the end that like either the older version of Adam or the younger version of Adam started slowly disappearing as it passed the ball from one atom to the other so either the older Adam would start slowly disappearing he pass it to the younger Adam who then as soon as he starts throwing it starts to disappear and then the father would either a catch the ball and it would show that they were both gone or it would be like the same when he goes to get the ball and turns around and they're both gone instead of him turning around after grabbing the ball and them just being gone without them slowly disappearing to begin with type of thing I just wish it went like that or the younger Adams start to slowly disappearing passed it to older Adam who then also started slowly disappearing and same kind of outcome as before just reversed that's how I think it should have gone in my opinion

As much as I loved this movie I really wanted to get to know the future that he came from. It's like a movie similar to independence day about aliens but they only depict their earthly interactions and not the world he comes from.

I think it was a above average film. Much better than trash Free guy or even Eternals. Netflix when they put money and effort makes good movies.. Its just they usually buy movies and slap their label on it . They have not got the media hype machine of Disney ( who put out average films but get rated highly ).
