The book and the movie are unrelated. They just have the same name. The movies name was originally going to be OUR NAME IS ADAM. But Netflix changed it to this.

@@kronikguyan These are all stand alone books, no series. Trying to avoid any spoilers. 1) I loved, loved, loved HAIL MARY by Andy Weir (The Martian), which I read will soon be a movie w/Ryan Gosling. How that's going to work is beyond me. Although it did make me think about Pilot from Farscape (I'm old). 2) Also totally enjoyed DARK MATTER by Blake Crouch (I could give you a list of movies in the same genre,... but I'm not going to. I went in clueless. It's a lot more fun that way.) 3) And then there's RABBIT by Terry Miles. I think maybe I was a bit too old for this one - by choice, no social media or playing video games or RPG's, etc.(not that there's anything wrong with any of those), but I had a hard time getting into it. And I'm still not completely sure I get the ending ;), but somehow I ended up caring about the main characters. Go figure. There is also a related podcast that came before the book, but haven't yet checked it out. Enjoy!

Why did I just get goose bumps? Oh that's right... years ago I was at a gas station filling my car up with gas. I heard someone calling my name "Rick hey.. Rick!! oveeer heeeere" I see this guy near the gas station door looking at me waving me over to his direction. I finished filling up, put the gas cap on and approached him. "Do I know you?" I asked skeptically. He looked to his left and to his right in a paranoid kind of way look at me all wide eyed and said "Rick I’m you! your me!" But this guy didn’t look like me at all and was round about the same age and a little shorter. I was like "WTF are you talking about?" He then went on to describe details of a previose surgery I had " Remember when you had the motorcycle wreck?" as he grabbed his left arm " And they did a bone graph? titanium plate six screws? took bone from your pelvis put it in to your arm? That was me! I’m you!" I looked at him as I was a bit freaked out and turned around and headed to my car. I turned to look at him briefly as I opened my car door to get in. The expression on his face was... as if I was stepping unknowingly in front of a moving train I couldn’t see coming, and he couldn't get his warning out in time. As I got in my car and took off. In hindsight, I regret running off like I did. So if this ever happens to you,.. stick around.
