Before Wednesday flipped her braid and went upstairs, Morticia gave her an ultimatum. The one thing every parent should never give their kids, otherwise they'll run away, live their own lives and never speak to them again.

Sometimes it’s necessary. It’s not always “a phase”. Even kids looking back can say that there were people they never should have hung out with. Sometimes kids know their friends better than how their parents see and sometimes parents know their children’s friends better than how their kids can look past. For the sake of this funny little movie, both parents are overreacting and ultimatums are unnecessary. But in reality, you just don’t want your children to become followers and change their personality overnight based on the actions of someone else.
