I don't like Wednesday with a bob, the pigtail braids are too iconic for me, why did the broadway version have to change it!

i think they should've started with the braids then later in the musical had her get the bob to signify her growing up. it also would've made more sense to have the braids in at least the first number so audiences are like "OH that's who that is" instead of being confused

Usually when television shows/films are adapted, changes to a characters looks will be made. Obviously Addams Family is a good example, but also Beetlejuice. Changed Lydia’s hair from a longer style to a bob. It’s just adjusting it for stage purposes

saw the show in Charlotte, NC back in October, 2011. Absolutley fantastic show. Though I wish I was able to see the original Broadway cast including Nathan Lane, Bebe Nuewirth, Krysta Rodriguez, and Wesley Taylor. Shame I didn't catch it.

It is lower, but not by much at all. I think only a half step. I get what you're saying though, it does change the song

Not really, more like a half step or something along those lines. There's this thing called people having different ranges, so they probably lowered the key so she could actually sing it. It's not permanent.

no offense or anything to people who like this Wednesday, but i just don't. I'm spoiled by Krysta's brilliant preformance as Wednesday and i kinda really hope this won't be the same girl play Wednesday when i see the musical in October. (even tho she probably will be...)
