Previous month I was able to gather my first five figure paycheck ever!!! I've been working for this provider on the internet for 2 yrs now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most important thing regarding it is that I am not really that tech-savvy, they only required standard knowledge of internet and elementary typing skill...Superb thing about this gig is the more free time I got with my family. I am in a position to enjoy quality time with my friends and family and take care of my children and also going on holiday vacation along with them very routinely. Don't skip this opportunity and try to react rapidly. This is what I do... *growthbig92.com*

I am Puerto Rican and Dominican, yet I do not have black features and I am clearly not white. I would not consider myself light skin or dark skin however depending on the amount of sun I get (or don’t get) I can seem MUCH lighter or darker. All my life I have been too white for black people and too black for white. I unquestionably have black, spanish, and Taino blood in me. I also live in an area with a considerable Mexican population and they almost all understand I am not Mexican although they recognize that I am Hispanic. I have been rejected and it truly hurts to be a part of communities that have almost universally ignored me.

When people think about racism especially in America, they generally believe it’s between black Americans and whites. However as a half Puerto Rican/ half black man I beg to differ. Some of the most vile and racist comments I have heard come from my own Latino community & family. Most Latinos will deny having any African blood when asked, Even when clearly obvious. Nevertheless they are real quick to say they are Taino,Azteca, Mestizo…etc; I can remember as a little boy my grandmother applying olive oil to my nose, and pinching my nostrils with her thumb and index finger to thin the broadness of my nose. Now as a family man, I educate and encourage my son to love who he is, and what he looks like. But most importantly to be proud of how God made you. To anyone reading this, I implore you. Do not pass this evil poison to the next generation. Let it stop with YOU!!🙏

@@EvbddgegehThis is a FACT. We as black Americans are NOT all counted on the U.S. census. They said we were 13% in the 80s, yet somehow are STILL only 13% in 2019!? BULLSHIT. Not only that, "Whites" heavily inflate their own numbers. That "Hispanic" category on the census is listed as "WHITE=Hispanic", which like this man said, includes ALL Hispanics choosing that category. Not to mention that other category, "White=Non-Hispanic", includes ppl who are clearly NOT white (i.e. Arabs, Indians, & PARTS of North Africans).

Uzziel Lewi so now it’s cool to be ashamed to be Latino? It’s cool for Afro Latinos to integrate themselves with the Black American culture and forget about their own but if a White Latino does that with other White Americans they get looked down upon. The hypocrisy is real. You should be proud of how beautiful and mixed the Latino culture no matter what your appearance or race may be

Thanks Rock for bringing awareness to this issue within the Latino community. I have been talking about this since the late 80's thanks to my Afro-Rican uncle who happened to be a Black Panther in New York. His books awakened me to my rich heritage. I identify as Afro-Rican, as I have 30% African descent in my DNA. There are many in my father's side that have a far higher percentage. If you're 30% African in the US, you are Black. Growing up I have had other Latinos state that I had "pelo malo", which means bad hair, because I do not have straight hair. Who are they to decide what is good hair and bad hair. Africans were enslaved in Puerto Rico long before Africans were brought to the US. Slavery was not abolished in Puerto Rico until 1873. My wife, who is Afro-Dominican, and has 63% African descent has had to deal with catching Latinos talking about her in Spanish because they thought she was African-American. My family members and I have experienced the same problem. The Dominican Republic is the first country in the Western Hemisphere where Africans were brought to. I applaud this brother's efforts to bring the Afro-Latino option on the census. If it comes to fruition, that will be the box my family and I will be checking. Adios brother!

People forget that Latin America is incredibly more mixed than North America. A black person in Latin America has considerably more European and native admixture than an African American, same as a white person in Latin America usually has considerable more African and native admixture than a white North American. This, coupled with a markedly different culture from African American, and US culture as a whole, and a historic and pervasive connection/interchanging between the term black and African American, leads many Afro Latinos to differentiate themselves from African Americans. Nothing wrong with that, just the facts on the ground.

This was so amazing. Thank you for including nuestro hermanos y hermanas desde América del Sur. Its important that we come together. When the Honduran gentlemen spoke of the exclusion of Afro Latinos it brought me back to conversation I had with someone about the Pan Latino movement and how it doesn’t serve Afro descendants in South America, but is a greater plot for a us Hispanic agenda.. There is truly no physical representation of them, you may hear it in the music and taste it in the food but there is no other representation. Interesting stat: over 70 percent of Puerto Ricans claimed white on the last census count. We need to wake up and align with those that look like you and truly care for you and I believe Black Americans are willing fight for you and with you. Black America’s should learn Spanish and Portuguese to help the movement, that is the only reason I learned Spanish and actively learning Portuguese then French. My goal is to be able to communicate with my people no matter where they are in the world.

My father is Spaniard,Scottish and Italian.im my mothers daughter .I'm blended diverse and aware of being a minority and I speak 3 languages.i dont considered myself one race over the other.im just happy to be blended bc it Shows how much racism ,we have in the Americas.when someone finde out that im blended they will trying to put me a box bc of races.i Tell there is no race box for me nor do i need one.im my mothers daughter bc that is all 8 know.as a child Till 16 i was a blond child, curly hair like Shirley Temples now my hair wavy and Red, my eyes are Light brown and I cant see too well.my skin is fair and I use alot sunblock since both my parents had dealt with skin cancer.being blended doesn't mean that im immune to skin cancer.i love both of my parents bc they encourage more to know about my cultures histories, heritages thru travels and festivals.People assumed that im white and talk Bad about me in Spanish so I just listen and when I was asked something i would end up answering in Spanish. This happened from grade school thru today. It's a never Ending Story. I have friends that are also blended and we can talk about our feelings and how discriminatory people can be.my fiance is from Spain and he loves just the way im.He is educated about the history of Spain and the African Diaspora in the Americas and especifically in 🇵🇪 Peru.we in Peru adopt childhood and later on friends of different background s and races.such as my father having a Afro Ecuadorian nephew since ,he has no blood family here and my father has some family in Ecuador.my father is "white" but he is very diverse man. Ed visits me with my 79 yrs old and we go to get Coffee and chit chat.everything from politics to music.races ,we also speak about it and how we could do better at person thru dialogue and voluntering .my mother is blended herself and I see how some people the way they talk to her.assuming she is a passing "white"person.she dont take crap from anyone.im alot like her my dad says that .I'm comfortable in my own skin and I'm outspoken.

The word "invasion" being used, is due to the numbers of people in the caravan, 7,000-10,000 who by Asylum laws should stop at the 1st country, if they are in need of help, which the majority did not stop and ask for Asylum in those countries. If it were 200 hundred people going towards the U.S. to enter illegally, it would not be called an invasion.

@Tracee Johnson, it cant be a invasion if you know they are coming, and you are wrong about how to go about asking for asylum: "Under federal law, anyone from another country can seek asylum - and therefore entry into the U.S. - by claiming to have fled their countries out of fear of persecution over their race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group."

AND, there’s also poverty, poor infrastructure, lack of freedom of speech and assembly, etc, etc, etc. It’s not an all or nothing and I find that Americans often frame the conversation on Cuba as either 1) it’s an awful poor communist country or 2) it’s this perfect paradise in the Caribbean where everyone is happy and equal

Listening to conversation like this. Leading me to one conclusion. GOD OF TO BE A BLACK KING. Because according to the bible: Satan knows who is GOD. So would satan turn on himself? Look at what every nation or nationality does to BLACK PEOPLE!

We should focus on ADOS/FBA issues and not people who want retain some BS culture who never respected them in first place. We shouldn’t have given them our platforms. Let them go speak on Univision or whatever spanish channels out there

That is a very ignorant statement. Do your just research. Despite of what you may believe, DNA says otherwise. It is no longer what a person believes they are, but what your genetic make up says you are. It is now scientifically proven, Afro - Latino is indeed as you say “a thing”.

Latino pertains to Latin Roman culture. And Afro pertains to Africans as a race. So yeah there are African Latinos
