Even that scenario is terrible because Kamala, whose poll numbers are worse than Joe's, would become the first female president, black to boot. Dems don't want her for obvious reasons, and she complicates finding someone to swap in for Joe because as Biden's current VP, she would have legit reason to expect to be the replacement. Dems created the predicament they're currently in when they set her up as Joe's "insurance policy" against impeachment.
