as an agility guy, i can confirm that it is pretty nice to take control of fights, but its quite frustrating when you find an aoe mage or any warrior since no amount of agility can save you from that aoe, forcing you to block/parry with your reduced hp since no amount of mobility can save you from that. imo size still beats agility any day of the week

yeah agility in the middle of a fight is pretty weak, it's best for noping out of fights or forcing them to continue when you're winning

I'd argue that agility right now is ideal for fights, compared to what it used to be, it's in a pretty balanced spot right now. not sure about noping out of fights since I hardly see any high agility users and since I am one myself, if someone started running they'd probably give up pretty quickly upon realizing that I can catch up pretty easily. besides that I don't really run from fights all that often so

1. You're absolutely right, agility is a pvp toggle, and that's why I love it. Arcane odyssey is NOT DEEPWOKEN, I don't want the whole thing to just be pvp and neither does vetex, meaning a pvp toggle is a good thing. I also love the amount of control I get in fights being able to counter basically anything with any build, allowing me to have as much fun as I want by using the most random builds and still be at least a bit viable. I'm incredibly tired of being jumped for no reason as a PVE player. 2. The fact that bro used MATH to prove his sponsor is amazing, so I just wanted to compliment you on that.

I agree with the 1 ngl Sadly, from what I've heard Vetex won't add an actual pvp switch for some silly reason (ppl wouldn't pvp, clans blablabla) It was months ago, so maaybe his opinion changed, but I don't stalk him on discord 💀

I am a high agility girl and I can confidently say that agility doesn’t compare to other substats because they are all more flexible and interchangeable with defense and power (mostly defense). The dynamic works like this because in spite of having little health, you get to be able to dodge and move around better. This doesnt really work in arcane odyssey though because hitboxes are very weird in this game and unpredictable. Yes it’s annoying to deal with when trying to gank someone for little reason but realistically it’s not really that good in fights. You’d be better off going attk speed as you can get a sizeable amount of defense AND power or having the attack size to hit everything in fort talos with a normal self explosion while having a lot of power and defense aswell. Agility never needed a nerf in my opinion but rather new armor and maybe even a slight buff but that’s just me

You use agility to run away from fights. I use agility and atk spd to be a mosquito in fights. We are not the same. All seriousness tho, agility can be pretty decent in actual pvp. You however need a build for zoning like mage or conjurer OR a vitality class so you can complete sacrifice def for agi and not be absolutely murdered on sight. Agility is a fun stat tho. Def not meta but its still cool to fly around people.

power takes a lot of EP to run high. like a lot a lot. 130 power is 390 efficiency points, which is just around half of a full build in EP so it's not exactly the best for making a brilliant build. sure, the initial jumping in a fight it'd fuck someone up but the highest power builds have poor defence and substats.

@@Q_ari Good point, however as max plasma conjuror with 247 power I can safely say, you should never afk in a server with a max power player, as they can 2 tap you in less than 7 seconds flat, with weapon shot flying fast, far, and most importantly a good 1k dmg every hit charged, or if your lazy a good 700 every regular hit from a dagger, bow and arrow also do a whopping 600 total damage just from m1 shots.

I run 0 or negative size on all my builds except my magma leg which I barely use. it's also the highest size I've ever used btw. it has 119 and I've never ran higher than that, unlike a lot of aoe people

i mean, if you jump someone randomly you can't cry over the fact that someone run away cuz he doesn't want to fight you,and in fights it a logical to have great agillity, so you can dodge moves to get less damage, whole complain about agility being braindead is literally dumb as fuck. run agility yourself then,it's not like it's one of 2 main trees you go, size or attack speed. it's a sub stat that goes with everything.
