The Alabama Conservation Enforcement Officer has been on the front lines of conservation for more than 100 years. The foresight of conservationists and state legislators to enact hunting and fishing laws, along with the dedicated service of the first conservation officers, made an impact on the abundance of wildlife and natural resources we enjoy today. While the enforcement of current game and fish laws is the primary duty of today’s conservation officer, they do much more.

I was wondering. ! I’m from FL and my Grandfather was retired FWC Original commander and I feel that this is my calling in life growing up with great fish and wildlife officers in amazing outdoors hunting and fishing is my passion what would be the steps that I would need to take to become an awesome Alabama game and fish officer I’ve looked up y’all’s requirements is there any other thing that I can do to help my chances of getting hired ? And thank you so much for your time

Well if hunting and fishing is ur passion why do u want to mess with people hunting and fishing? I can't stand game wardens

God given rights being turned into a privilege for man to take away. Wonder what these people would do when govt goes broke and people can't eat and do not want to become a food begger to govt and rather go fish or hunt for their meals ? Would they give them a ticket or keep ticketing them because they were expressing their God given rights to survive and take care of their family but end up jailed after being fined multiple times then what happens to their children ? Do they now become property of the state? See when you turn from God and begin trusting gov't to take care of you then you no longer are a Christian that believes in GOD taking care of you and having faith in him you choose now to give faith in a gov't to do it for you. Sounds like a communist country when you think about it cause they do make them worship them and serve them and thank them for taking care of them and so America has a choice to make and that is either turn around from your wicked ways and ask him for forgiveness and begin serving him or walk blindly to your death serving a false a God. Rise Up America and turn around before it is to late.

I see your point however these guys are human and some are Christian as well. God has a plan for everyone. A fishing license is 9 dollars at Walmart last time I saw one. That’s easy to buy and have and then you can catch all the fish you want. God made every species to live however it wants to and sadly humans are the most diverse which is why we have officers. (Example) you’re out hunting and you’re doing everything legally, then another person comes up and starts taking your killed deer from you or tries to kill deer you are breeding. Who would take care of that if wardens didn’t exist?

Your right to hunt, fish, and forage ends at your property line. If you want to live off the land you have to buy the land first.
