Alfa Romeo has just unveiled the Milano, a new model featuring a fresh design for the brand. This design has sparked considerable discussion. We spoke with Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, the head of design at Alfa Romeo, about the Milano and the future of design at the company.

This car has agressive look what an Alfa always should get against the Tonale' which looks like a boat on 4 wheels Thanks for the vide, very insteresting The only question is who designed this car, i guess it was done before Alejandro came from Cupra

Despite I don’t like the headlight design In must agree with the evolution discourse and to put the actual name of the brand visible for everyone to read it because in the USA for example nobody knows the brand despite has been here since 2016.

I'm a big fan of this new Alfa Junior and really like the progressive design language that has some really beautiful design features throughout especially the dashboard side illuminated logo air vents and the rear tinted boomerang taillights. I think Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos has really succeeded and excelled in his design brief bettering the opposition in design terms!

The stelvio and giulia are amazing cars. I own both. What they are proposing, especially only electric will lose me as a customer.

Alfa had better be making plans for hybrid Stelvios/Giulias or risk losing many current owners. We don't want EVs.

@@rlsedition I’m sure they will be doing hybrid too. Electric though is inevitable and if anyone can make a characterful ev it’ll be Alfa.

@@Paul-bm1so EVs are not inevitable, not when governments are pushing them on the public. We are not in an "existential crisis" due to the environment.

2:28 Alex this sounds like…a threat! Evolving the design of the Stelvio from the Milano/Junior but it is ugly, compared to being an Alfaromeo. Timeless design but if you look at it from the side it's difficult to distinguish it from a pegeout!

With this Design and Styling disaster there is no future. After the Giulia and Stelvio horror.....now this one. How can I stay a Alfa Romeo fan and buyer? Its impossible.

I don't think so, this is a progressive design that looks better than its rivals Alfa has to evolve to survive if you can't understand this then you don't understand the car business.

Hold on… what do you mean Stelvio and Giulia Horror? They are the best cars that Alfa made so far.
