In this video, Bad Beast continues to review the new prototype AS350P Puresmoke Portable Wood Pellet Grill from Asmoke. In this video we do the initial burn in, cook a slab of ribs and test the automatic ash clean out feature.
The new AS350 will have the following features: extended lid, greater grilling space, external flame broiler adjustment, automatic ash cleanout and a new PureSmoke burn system.
A few differences between the AS300 model and our AS350P’s are:
The AS350P’s contain an extended lid, whereas AS300 will feature the standard size lid.
The AS350P’s contain an external flame broiler plate pull handle, whereas the AS300s do not.
Pricewise: Expect a difference of $50-80 between the two models? (expected)
Eventually, all models will contain all the benefits and features of PureSmoke technology such as: automatic ash cleanout, flavor enhancement compartment drawer, lid stabilizer bracket, saves 30% more pellets through more efficient, cleaner, pellet burns.

I love the real ness of this video, all your videos in general. You just go with the flow, if the neighbors are mowing pressure washing, having a parade. You just roll with it and do your video! Keeps it authentic that you didn’t edit out all the bad stuff that happens. Thanks for that. Now about the grill, seems like a great improvement, I love the idea of the taller lid being standard.

I think the ash goes over to the other side of the tray during cool down as the fan blows. I have never had an issue with ash in my liquid.

Fan seems louder than the AS300 in other videos, do you think that is the case? Did it seem to use more pellets than the 300 being that the pot is open on the bottom? I contacted ASMOKE about the expected release and unfortunately they said late 2nd 1/2 of this year, October, November time frame. Not sure if I want to wait that long.

You could if you had one of near perfect size, but a regular direct flame camp stove would probably serve you better.

I've also notice that people said the temp very's could that be the firepit going on and off

Temps very because of different variables. Moisture, outside temp. The older models don't have a PID controller. So it's supposed to hold temp better.
