Just bought the box. I love this box. You get the bang for your buck! I was paying about $150 per month with cable network now saving so much money. It’s hard wired and never had any freezing or buffering issue at all. I am saving so much money getting this box plus love the Playback feature. Thanks for the video to help set up the box. It works flawlessly 😊

Hi Jason, this is Scooter steve from KZfaq. I was advertising the super box. I had everyone at the can make from day one and they’re always down always under maintenance. That lady with a pipe wrench keeps coming on and it always freezes up the picture stays still and then you gotta wait until it comes on and jump the channels. I clear the cash like I show people how to do it but I don’t think the super box is not that great There’s been a lot of people complaining to me about it walking up and freezing up. I also had the super box elite three it does the same thing I think the only one works. The best is got 14 application. That is the. Vsee box elite is excellent.

Box works great saving lots of money. My dish bill was about $150 a month and bought this box for $280. Saving lots of money now 😊Only problem don’t work great is the Playback. Especially ESPN stations. It will play for about 3 min and crash but news station 85% works good the Playback. Besides that great bargain compare to cable network constantly having monthly bill. Now no more monthly bills 😀

So I have a Superbox 5 max on the way, but after seeing your review it appears my superbox s5 elite has way better and more apps for watching content. Why in the hell wouldn’t they have included these as well and if anything included those and new ones. So you get their newest box and get less. WTF that’s a joke. So what you showed are the same apps I have on my monster box which runs great but they don’t update or add any new apps. People if you’re buying a box the VSee Box is the best and runs totally smooth. I have the V2 now I wish I would have just bought the V3 instead of the superbox 5 max. Jason could you please at least let them know they should at least add there apps from the S5 Elite, they could do it online in there App Store. So why is this MAX, it’s MAX LESS apps and content. Thanks Jason for any help you’re always great in your reviews and are straightforward.

Nice technical explanation of the product and setup. However, I'm interested in an experience review (showing playing the movies accessed on VOD and local programming, sports, etc.). Does VOD stream the same movies that are being streamed on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.?

I like the superbox and the vseebox, it's the most reliable. The new vseebox has the best picture quality. I will be doing a video comparing all the boxes.

@BigDo I would like to see that comparison video also. I have two super boxes , a S5 and S4 and they do take away a high cable bill. However if you are a video enthusiast, or going from fiber optic cable like Verizon fios, you won’t like the picture quality. Also the bigger your tv the more grain/artifacts become relevant. I have fast internet and with the super boxes free iptv servers I still get slight buffering from time to time. I ended up paying for a iptv yearly subscription which is still way cheaper than cable and it performs better.

so just recieved the s4 pro and love the voice command but have a question, the voice command works in utube but now have an AI from either utube or the SB giving info on everything and its annoying. she says stuff like how long each video is, tells me a commercial is coming, etc, is there a way to shut her down? also only in utube my volume is governed to low and it wont go any higher...just curious if you had any info on this. thanks

Can you please tell me what is the difference between the SuperBox S5 Max and the SuperBoxElite Ultra. I tried contacting customer service and not having any luck finding answers. Do you get the same channels on both devices?

Yes you get the same channels. But the Elite Ultra comes with all the Elite apps, so you get about 5 more apps the Max.

Always, in my honest opinion. Not having a VPN doesn't prevent you from watching anything that the box will connect to, but preferably, you'd want to be hidden doing that. Why take a chance with your ISP banning you from their service, whom might start cracking down on "illegal" content (copyright laws). Especially if you're a huge movie lover that watches movies that aren't even out for rental yet. I never use my box without connecting to my VPN service first. That's just a no brainer. It all depends on what you're watching.

I'm having an issue with turning it back on. I watch tv turn it off and the smart box shuts down and there's a red light. When i hit the power button on the remote the box wont come back on I have to unplug it and plug it back on to get it back on. Any idea why or how to fix it?

I have the S4 Pro and i've noticed that live sports are a bit laggy. Other programs seem to work fine, although i'm on WiFi. Would getting the S5 resolve these issues or is it something with my internet? I don't have lag or buffering issues when streaming normally.

What channel is giving you problems? I can try both boxes at the same time to see what happens. But I don't think you getting the S5 will fix that.

@@JasonTech I was watching playoffs on TNT and randomly it kicks me out (back to blueTV screen) and ocassionaly it lags a bit. I had the kickouts happen about 3 times yesterday in a 1 hour span or so.

Yes, Same channels. The only different is. You are running the S4 Blue apps and it's using the S5 blue apps. The picture is a little clearer.

That a problem I have to be there to see what's happening. I would check the setting on the TV and the superbox. On the TV, look at HDMI-CEC, turn it off. On the Superbox go to the HDMI setting.

So much for "common sense". 1gig hard wire got me 400 mbps in reality. This box is illegal junk. Most all the 3rd included party apps don't work. Most of the play store apps don't work either.

It could be, but I can't tell you how to fix it because I don't know how you have it all setup. How do you have the soundbar hooked up? Are you using ARC? How do you have the TV sound setup? You might need a tech to check how your equipment is setup

Yes I was using ARC I had it connected to the TV I disconnected the sound bar and still get the popping sound in and out I am using a Roku 4K smart TV

I don't think it's the remote. If, all you are getting is a black screen I would try a different HDMI cable and a different HDMI port on the TV.

Something doesn't seem right with this thing. The channel list is incredibly extensive, with practically every channel there is. But there's no monthly fee. 🤔 I think it runs on a legal loophole that'll soon be closed. Pay television stations aren't going to put up with it. Then it'll be a useless box.
