The girl is trying so much not to upset her mom not knowing that she don't have to apologise. she deserved to know the truth.

When my sister and brother in law split the courts offered to do DNA testing on the three kids. My sister was(unfortunately) a druggie and most definitely was unfaithful. My brother in law refused the DNA testing, saying that he was the only father and stable parent the kids ever knew and he would always be their father.The court gave him full custody of the kids, he raised them and took care of them on his own. I have immense respect for him. The kids, my niece and nephews are in their late 20's now and doing well. He is now a happy and proud grandpa.

Typical case that the issue "revolved" around the father still being mad at the mother for cheating on him. He basically came to court to diss her publicly. But, happy for the daughter. Now she can put this issue to rest.

What a selfish father, putting his daughter through such emotional distress for so many years just cause he was upset with his wife's infidelity. Even if he had every right to question the truth (and not trust her) he shouldn't have put that on his daughter. The children are never at fault at all these situations. And this young woman especially was nothing but the sweetest of daughter to them both. I hope he will learn to handle his problems and issues responsibly as a father and not put such heavy burdens on his kids.

I started tearing up at "beautiful" and never stopped! That was such an emotional case... especially watching the mother and daughter continuously reassure one another of their love for each other. It's such a tragedy that this "man" along with his family and friends planted that seed of doubt into this girl's mind at such a young age. She's had to go her whole life hearing those types of comments all because she had blue eyes. How ridiculous and how cruel! I can't even imagine what she must have gone through emotionally. And to hear her say, "I know I should have believed you, Mom." shows that even though in her heart she knew that "man" was her Dad, those thoughts being shoved into her mind still managed to take control. Truthfully, something tells me that this bright young lady knew from the start and got tired of hearing the negative comments. She probably wanted to shut them up once and for all, and thanks to Judge Lake, she did just that! May God bless this sweet young lady and her mother to forever love, trust and respect one another always... just as they have through this issue that would surely would have destroyed so many others.

Sometimes when you treat someone a certain way and accuse them of something so much they turn to that. He was probably accusing her of stuff for years until she broke and turned to someone else for comfort.. not saying cheating is ever okay, but this man is mean and he seemed he’ll bent on accusing her. I believe her when she says she didn’t cheat until after the kids were born.

That man is a great man. He may have had doubts but through all of it, he never fully blamed the mom or daughter. He just cared for what the daughter wanted. It’s normal for there too he doubts when everyone is putting them in your head and you built a profile in your head if who it could be. I don’t blame him. But he really is a good person.
