Min Lo Chan, an old friend of Jonah's has arrived from his home in China with a strange request: help him find three Marines that he met with briefly in 1946. He's being accused of some crimes and those men are the only ones who can clear his name. Back in China, a wealthy industrialist doesn't want the man's name cleared, because he stands to gain a billion dollars from Min's downfall.

About that silencer; I read once about a pulp magazine writer who had a gun in one of his stories fire more shots (accompanied by a "Bang" for each shot) than the gun could on one load. The writer explained: "They pay me by the word."

Rita, Julie, and Emily. A love rectangle? "Monkeying" with Peter's life makes me wonder what kind of powers he would have gotten if it was a radioactive chimp that bit him.

A Peking spy... Well, being a spy, it figures there'd be a lot of peeking going on.

Sometimes people try to guess my age and thank goodness, they guess low. Recently, I had a birthday, A casual acquaintance asked, "How old are you?" I told her, "18 plus." She looked confused and said, "18 plus?" I said, "Yeah, forty!"

Dude, if you're 58, try adding the two numbers together... 5 + 8 = 13. Tell people you're 13. Just think, next year you'll be 14 and the following year, you'll go back to being six!

My own guess for when the episode was split was when Spider-Man went down in the subway with the train coming. It's your standard cliffhanger ending to lure people back next week. Can I say "World's Worst News Judgment" by putting the death of a Chinese minister on the front page of a New York Newspaper? It's not a big story, at least in New York City. If, say, the Chancellor of the Exchequer in the UK died from a heart attack, it might rank high on the UK news, but not the American press. In addition, both papers were risking their reputations by knowingly printing fake news. This series did not like to have Peter Parker use his powers unless he was wearing his costume (except for the pilot). His fleeing the apartment to change before the fight served a plot point with Emily (I remember enough about the episode, even after all this time), but a few episodes ago where he changed into Spider-Man to break out of the jail cell was just absurd. I'm sort of lukewarm on the plot. I'm not convinced the word of American military officers that the bribe was not accepted is worth much in a Chinese court. I'm also not feeling the episode had an excuse plot for some fantastic Spider-Man stunt sequences.

When I was 40, my assistant manager was about 20, and people thought we were married (she looked older, and I looked a LOT younger) 10 years later, I grew a beard, and at a gas station in New Jersey USA (where they have to pump your own gas) the girl offered me the senior discount (for 60 and up!)

I grew up saying Peking, and when broadcasters started changing to using Beijing, it threw me for a loop. It took me a long time to get used to the change.
