You can always, always, refuse to work if you feel it unsafe or unjustified, or if you believe you are unqualified to do the job. >Going near running power cables like those >Bullied into trying to fix it while it's still running >Climbing up on safety railing >Standing on a surface obviously not built to be stood on >All without any safety equipment of any kind End result - electrocuted, falling to death. The fact that the fall to death was prolonged the rest of the movie is incidental.

If he had a hard hat and safety vest, he would have been fine! I don't even know what he electrocuted himself on. He was holding 440V cables by insulated connectors, but touched something behind them? Is there just an exposed power bus running through the roof, right next to 440V? Him not using safety equipment is his own fault, if the worksite supplies it and he's trained in its use. However, if the worksite wasn't built to electrical code, he's got a pretty good case for a hefty payout! Call Matt Murdoch!

I think turning Max into literal electricity is too OP. Turning into energy and moving through as an electric current is ridiculous. Just like with Sandman he doesn’t really die. He has to be captured or “dispersed” which has no finality to it.

In the comics they established that there is one specific particle of sand that contains the sandmans spirit or consciousness and is responsible for sending psychic signals to the other partcles of sand that get absorbed into his body. If you destroy that specific grain of sand, you can kill him. Spiderman once shot a web net into the sandmans body and ensnaring this particular grain and when he pulled it out and separated it from his body, his body became a lifeless and inert heap sand. Separating this particular grain from the rest of the body or destroying it proves to be difficult though as the grain is constantly shifting to different locations of his body, and the more sand he absorbs into himself the more it becomes like looking for a needle in a haystack

The movie should've been about Max as a Peter's friend realising that Peter has a better life than him. So he would have a character development around the anger and frustration suiting perfectly with the soundtrack. At the end he'd understand he just needed to be positive bc Peter never had it easy.

i watched it for the 1st time recently and after max is introduced as this overly obsessed with spiderman guy i thought the plot was gonna be about him somehow turning bad after becoming electro and wanting revenge while still admirating spiderman, and that his character arc would end with him inevitably having to fight his own hero. His obsession over spiderman was greatly underexploited as they make max hate peter so suddenly

No but I’m sure mutated eels will give you a nice makeover haha Maybe it’s a rule that you at least get a little hotter if you undergo a super villain transformation (except for Harry) If we’re going for an in-universe explanation I’ll assume that in this universe mutants or super humans are fairly easy to create!
