The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a mess. The movie responsible for yet another franchise reboot despite setting up Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker and other characters for multiple spin offs, sequels and prequels. Maybe it was the inclusion of Electro, Rhino and Green Goblin, maybe it was the bit with the birthday cake, maybe it was one of the other 407 storylines. Regardless we say goodbye to this universe (for now) in this weeks Caravan Of Garbage review.

Those NYC subway tokens were just normal tokens, however, the MTA phased them out in 2003. Since the film came out in 2014, Peter would have to track down more of them on eBay or antique shops or whatnot. (Although couldn't he just do a spin on the ol' quarter on a string thing with his web?)

What the fuck was up with TASM2 getting that subtitle "Rise of Electro" in Australia? Like it wasn't a long enough title already? People didn't know who Spider-Man is? Is Electro that popular?

Kevin Feige was involved with The Amazing Spider-Man films because he was Marvel's Creative Consultant and all external companies that hold the rights to Marvel characters need to consult with a Marvel Creative Consultant for the okay and notes on the movies. Don't legally had to send everything through Marvel Entertainment for the okay. Marvel wants to make sure they aren't going to do something completely awful like make Spider-Man a killer or something. They still have rules they need to follow, which is why Kevin was involved.

The theme for the movie was so generically triumphant superhero music. It’s not a big deal at all but I’ve been holding onto that thought since 2014 and had nowhere to share it

Sony should only be allowed to make Spidey games. All of their Spidey related movies are absolutely horrific. TASM 1-2 sucked, Venom 1-2 sucked.
