I love you chaps, thanks for doing what you do :D I know it wasn't this video, but thanks for teaching us: you were like, wanna learn how to direct, just do what we do and match it up, then play around with it, like try different camera angles... that is one of my favorite film lessons. thank you thank you

Yes that's exactly it! Just get a camera, even an iPhone or whatever and just start playing around and having fun experimenting with stuff! I think that's the best way to learn.

It was pretty much just a few old pieces of plastic and some wire painted black. You can see it at 5:04 but there's not really a lot too it because we barely see it in the trailer so Ben made it very simple.

If you watch at 1:15 you can see that it's just white tape over the red fabric. Totally no way to see through it haha.
