What an amazing piece of history and a beautiful rework of an old yacht, the craftsmanship of this type is rare to find these days, it's a credit to their work to be displayed, more please

So very cool to see history preserved... Purists could say "that's not at all her state in either world war" and I would say that for ONE, she got updated partly before WWII and TWO, they could have left her a burnt out scrap and never been saved. I think this is just awesome. 👍👍

A beautiful boat, how could anyone not be happy cruising around in that. Great history behind it too. Would much prefer it to a modern boat

What a beautiful motor cruiser! I sail generally, but would purchase a boat like that in a heartbeat, especially when it has such a history.

I'd love the lines of these old boats. Nothing wrong with updating an old boat with modern bits n bobs. A beautiful cruiser and I'd like to see modern boats with these lines.

Her most notable former owner is Charles Lightholler himself. Who piloted her during the Dunkirk Evacuation. This old lady is a real trooper

Personally, I would have chosen a different architecture with the wheelhouse/bridge further forward, but that is just details. The most important bit: it is not a "normal" plastic boat of nowadays, where builders insist that even a 70ft yacht must look like an oversized runabout.

It is really so hard find in IKEA golden tap and retro sink in these days? Dear Motor Boat & Yachting last few episodes almost broke my heart. PLS have a mercy. 15 min later: Now I feel like monster and i want to lose my eyes and this stupid tongue, or fingers which type that. It is so rare that some one want repair something. Please forgive me. I have no rights to criticize young voluntires. I will pray for them to see that difrence next time.
