Im quite impressed with how stable it was in flight. And unimaginable energy transfer (i wasnt expecting it to almost rip the block in half)

The fact that the wound cavity was so expansive that a cork pad ended up in the gel says ALOT about the power of that slug!!

I know that rifling makes everything better, but the rifling on *THAT* slug is *EXTREME* !!!

Man, that 51-yd shot is a top ten shot of all time on this channel. Gregg's accuracy, the slug's perfect performance and shockwave, and that beautiful embedding in the plate. You could screw a nut onto that stud and it would be parallel to the plate.

I’m impressed with that aluminum plate! I didn’t expect a steel projectile to stop that close to the surface or be deformed that much.

The mushroomed Worminator 2.0 stuck in the aluminum plate was fantastic! Also loved the still spinning bounceback after going thru the gel block. COOL!!

OG always hits where he aims. The times he misses is when he is knocking a fly out of the air so he doesn't miss what he is aiming at. Those make a nice round honestly. Well done both of you.

Those slugs are pretty nice. I always feel like a kid watching these videos. Who cannot love shooting crazy things with a shotgun, using strange and exotic slugs? My first gun was a 22LR rifle. My second gun was a 12ga 870 my Dad got from a pawn shop. It was rough. We took it apart, refinished the wood. Someone left the thing in the rain or something stupid like that. The metal was fine. I used to shoot all manner of crap at the county dump with that gun. I even fished with it! I got up on low bluffs overlooking the river and would shoot gar when they came to the surface. Gar would always screw with my trot lines. I am 65 now and I still use that gun for dove and turkey hunting every year, and for varmint work around the chicken coop at night here on the ranch. These videos make all those memories flood back. Thanks guys. Very enjoyable for sure.

I have a good feeling about these doing their fair share of damage to the lead plate. **The #2 bonus shot was impressive, never seen that type of damage done to the plate.

I think that you were seeing the shadow of the Shockwave. If it was the wave itself, it would pick up the dust more.

I loved that secondary shock wave. I still think it had to be the sound return coming back. I wonder if you could make a blank round with no projectile or a projectile that would still allow pressure in the bore to build that would almost instantly go subsonic out of the barrel and shoot that closer to the ground to see the sound wave separate of the shock wave from the projectile. There's some kind of fun science going on there.

The slug looks like drive screw used in industrial positioning stages.. I wouldn't think the steep screw pitch would act as rifling. But maybe you could get the inventor to talk on an episode to explain why this round worked so well.

I also think part of the fun is that not every design works out. It'd almost be boring if they all did, I always try and guess how I think it will work and am often surprised how right or wrong I am. Even the little stuff like dialing in point or aim, it all satisfies that curiosity itch.

Well another week I didn't get unsubscribed, however, can't remember when I saw so many commercials on here. Nice to see the goatee stranger stopped by😂, hope he has a safe trip and enjoys himself (and doesn't go swimming, still remember what happened last time him and his daughter took a dip on that side of our round, not flat, spinny thing😅). You and Evan have it going on with these two, amazed how it flew through Mr Goodbody with a vest and continued flat flight. Jeff been subbed for a long time I believe at least 7 years. Gosh it sure seems like 7 years. You helped me personally pick out the correct size mold I needed. To cast my first bird shot to pellet slug mold. When everyone in the comments were just trying to confuse me. I’ll always check to make sure I’m subbed to your channel Sir. Seen a lot of stuff happen on your channel through out the years. I have also had to tell people to shut their mouths in the comments section. Because you had opinions about stuff that you honestly felt were correct and all you wanted to was help. A lot of my favorite channels that I have watched for quite some time. Are slowly disappearing they leave their content to be viewed but they don’t make anymore new stuff. And I don’t blame them because KZfaq has treated channels in this community like crap. It just sucks because even though I never met any of these content creators. I have liked and commented on all their videos for quite some time. Point I’m trying to make is I’m glad your still around still making great content. And you will ALWAYS have at least 1 person following your content and liking your videos. Because I am not going anywhere no matter how many times KZfaq unsubscribes me.
