@@joebenson528 I felt the same away about the feud as well at the time but looking at it now. It was the right choice. QT is a good trainer but he sucks on TV and Ogogo not only hasn’t made any appearances since that match… he hasn’t even been a thought since. I know he’s still dealing with eye issues but that should had been thought of before signing him. I don’t think he’ll be in the company much longer. So… I think Cody got it right. Cody also knows that AEW is heading towards being more sports entertainment while WWE looks into athletes more. Take the money. Face the best talent. Win the world title. Bring more talent in. Cement your legacy. That’s what he’s doing.

I think he will be on Raw at first and then might move over to Smackdown in a draft.

I don’t see Cody beating Roman, but he might get drafted to Smackdown in October and challenge him for the title.

It's because this guy is using his trademark theme and you're used to hearing it in aew along with the fact he's himself and not stardust just the American nightmare cody rhodes the man who dominated on the indys helped create aew and has returned to the wwe

Absolute goosebumps. I feel like Whoever is in creative is finally starting to understand the dynamics of the current landscape in pro wrestling as a whole. For those who understand just what Cody has been able to make happen in the industry in the last 6 years and even more notably the last 3 is just breathtaking. For us lifelong fans this is the type of moment we've been waiting for. ✋️

As much as I believe Cody shouldn’t have returned to WWE, I will say he is living the American Dream. When he left, wwe offered him $500,000… This time around he’s been given a $3,000,000 contract (not sure if true but it’s what I’ve been hearing). Good for him tho
