The Anaheim Hotel - Best overall hotel for your Disneyland stay?

The Anaheim Hotel is located a couple blocks from the Disneyland entrance; a 9 minute walk. This is a tour of our room, the hotel grounds, it's amenities and our honest thoughts.We stayed 4 nights and the bill after taxes, fees, and $18 a night for parking was $540. Thanks. Ya we've been to so many hotels around Disneyland; time to start showing them off 🤣. I have over 1k video clips to sort through for the vlogs 🤔😵‍💫

I think I was four or five when I was with the family for Disneyland...so, over 55 years ago! It is the only time I was there and I still remember bits and pieces. What I do remember clearly is staying at a campground. Always prefer budget conscious options...leaves just a little extra money to splurge on other stuff! Hope too that you at least smiled and screamed on one of the coasters!! 🤣 Take good care now...Bruce and Otis

Disneyland definitely leaves an imprint in folks. One of the reasons I love Disneyland so much is all the memories with family and friends I've made there over the years. I'm always looking for the best deals for the same reason. It was hard not to smile on that roller coaster 🤣. This hotel is pet friendly too 😉. I hope to be back soon.

Thanks, that means a lot. It was a fun trip. Really happy the hotel turned out good. Definitely staying here again. It's by far the best bang for your buck in the area.

Thanks! It was a fun trip. We used to stay here a lot as kids. Brought back memories. Now I gotta start putting together the other videos. Over 1,000 clips to sort through 🧐

Dude when you opened the fridge... I was expecting that majestic sky music and fade into white! 🤣great video you went over everything in that room, very informative and a good sell, you should have them sponsor you or at least give you a commission! nice job, and I like the teasers at the end!

Thanks. Lol, I actually edited this video pretty fast. First video in a while I didn't put music. I started to add in all kinds of stuff but decided to try the, fast don't think to much editing we've talked about. You should start putting teasers in your videos, like here's what's coming next 🤣🤣. Now I gotta figure these vlogs out 🤔😳

@@ChooseAdventureCaliforniaStyle this video didn't need any music, I like it fast paced, informative and just good, I would review my room 🤣 but I have 4 Times more luggage and its a mess... and yes I also live out of my suitcase while traveling. To me the teaser makes sense, good idea! but now you are committed 😅its a way to keep yourself in check and put out more content! anyways nicely done, waiting on the next one!

Thanks. I try every video to pick up the pace to the point of even taking out a split second I take a breath. I originally put in a piece of classical music in the first scene but it took to much away from the feel. Your teasers to the next videos inspired me, it is a nice touch and cliffhanger. Maybe my next video I'll start with "previously on Choose Adventure California Style" 🤣.

I used to never unpack as well. I have evolved, however! 😆 Two-night stay. I don't unpack. Three or more, I unpack. Very detailed assessment. Crazy how much cheaper it is than what your parents paid. Wow. Been over 35 years since I last went to Disneyland. Never took my kids. Yeah, "Dad of the Lifetime" achievement award is not being awarded anytime soon 😅My grandmother and mother would take me often as a kid. I HAD to stay at the Disneyland Hotel, now resort I assume. #spoiled

As kids we always unpacked, idk why I don't now, I've devolved 🤣. The hotel they stayed at used to be our go to and very affordable. They did a major remodel and now it's pricey. Never took your kids! There's still time to take them now 🤣. Lol, you had to stay at the Disneyland hotel 🤣. I have yet to stay at a disney hotel. Maybe they'll want me to review they're hotels and let me stay for free 😁

Okay, I don’t leave comments very often, but I just had to say I loved this review. I seriously laughed out loud several times. Also, we have a stay booked here and all the old reviews online (pre refurbishment) had me nervous. I had my eye on another hotel and when availability opened up for that one I jumped on it. So I currently have two hotels booked and have to pick one. 😆 You have me pretty sold on choosing this one. They definitely should comp you! One question: how was the noise? An appropriate level for decent sleep?

Lol, Thanks! The noise was totally fine when we were there. There was a couple next to us and it was fine. I know what you mean about the reviews pre refurbishment! We used to stay here a lot before the refurbishment and it wasn't great but I loved the grounds and location. When they did the refurbishment I had to check it out; very pleased 😊. What is the other hotel you booked? I've stayed at A LOT over the years.

Did you book thru a third party if so which one I booked direct and paying about 250 a night 😑 hundred sounds good could use the extra bucks for food or more 🤨🥴

I just booked it myself through triple A. I have noticed the crazy increases in prices! Everything has gotten so expensive; sad. Just keep checking, prices can drop suddenly sometimes. You can try calling and asking for a lower price...? I've done that once at another hotel and it worked.
