It's become "Classical" music. Just like we go to the symphony to listen to Beethoven's music being played live by real people playing real instruments, we can witness the music of The Beatles in a similar live setting.

Actually, the "shhhsh" is from the original vinyl album version. You can hear it in the final seconds of the song, if you turn the volume way up. Just prior, you can hear a chair squeak and the shhhsh was probably meant for that person.

Damn! This is by far the best cover of my favorite Beatles song I have ever heard. The drummer was GREAT. Phil Collins said that Ringo's drumming in that song was extremely difficult to copy because of the subtle beats and rolls and this guy nailed them. Bravo!
@lakemichigan65985 жыл бұрын
R H Yes, Ringo's drumming on this song has always stood out to me. Subtle, relaxed, concise, and, in the end, entirely integral. Can you imagine this song without Ringo's contribution? His is a master class in how you can sometimes do so much more by providing less.
@rhagedorn5 жыл бұрын
Lake Michigan Totally agree on how a drummer can sometimes overpower a song by showing off. Ringo has never done that. His drumset is relatively small and he only does what is needed to make a song good. He has always been underrated.
@lakemichigan65985 жыл бұрын
R H In a band of 4 where 3 members are acknowledged near geniuses, it's hard for the merely brilliant 4th not to be underrated. Those in the know understand Ringo was instrumental to their phenomenal success. The other three along with another drummer could have called themselves The Beatles but I think any other human combination would have offered the world a very different, not nearly as iconic, musical experience.
@rhagedorn5 жыл бұрын
Lake Michigan I don't really think that the Beatles were particularly known as great musicians. They were great songwriters and benefited a lot from the genius of Brian Epstein. For me the band with the greatest musicians was Led Zeppilin.
@lakemichigan65985 жыл бұрын
R H I agree. Lennon was a good guitarist & pianist, not great. Harrison was much better but no Eric Clapton. Musicianship-wise, McCartney was probably the best - but it was their compositional skills and their extraordinary ability to perform so well as an ensemble that set them apart - along with the exceptional and essential inputs of both Brian Epstein & George Martin. After all, the Beatles have one of the very highest percentage of good songs to also ran's in the history of song writing. There's a very good young British guitarist with a youtube channel (Wings of Pegasus) where he very knowledgeably, I think, assesses the musicianship of a number of current and past electric guitar performances by a myriad of greats. You might find him interesting.
@Tonetwisters2 жыл бұрын
GOOD grief. I am a guitarist/musican of 60 years. This is incredible. That this many musicians of this caliber still hold this song and the original players in such high regard ... well, I had to fight back tears. Thank you for performing this project and down to the nth detail.

This is an absolutely perfect interpretation of a masterpiece respecting the soul and musical genius of the authors: The Beatles.

I really appreciate the band member telling the audience “be quiet,” before it ended. I wish all audiences would return to classical music norms

The mark of a perfect pop song is that you want to play it again as soon as it is finished because it left you wanting more.

I just discovered this band. OMG, thank you so much Analogues for doing this. I literally found myself applauding the videos. I cannot possibly imagine the work and talent that went into recreating Beatle music on stage since the Beatles and GM were extremely complex. Absolutely fantastic and I hope you come to my hometown Las Vegas.

I went to The White album tour and it was amazing! Some moments there were literally like 20 people on the stage at the same time. Just to give us the best experience!

Just happen on this by chance. Can't stop watching their videos. As a musician, these men and woman have my utmost respect. I've never seen or heard anyone who could reproduce this music so perfectly in every detail. I have truly enjoyed listening to them play every one of the Beatles songs they do. Perfection!

brilliant when you have over a dozen musicians on stage ... mind blowing when you have the five Reo Brothers playing this live in their small home studio in the philippines !

When I was a small boy living in regional Australia around 1967, my neighbour, a 'teenager' played this music every night on a record player. It drifted in through my open bedroom window and I became entranced. One night, I put on my dressing gown and sneaked next door, down under their house and into a dark, smokey dungeon where several small red lights punctuated the darkness. Cigarette buts were hastily extinguished but the glow from the valves of that Mullard 10+10 watt tube amplifier remain indelibly etched into my memory whenever I hear this piece. Fantastic music. Fantastic performance!
