I came straight to your comment. I was in England for two years, and the Roman baths were smelly. No museum. You could just walk around. I knew I wasn't losing my mind. Yet. 😁

Roman buildings/ruins are brilliant. We have one Edinburgh, but they didn't stay in Scotland for too long and then built up couple of big walls to keep us barbarians out. Saying that there is some quite big remains of Roman forts around Scotland, just mounds of earth though.

Hot Springs Arkansas is still alive and well with the continuous flow of hot spring water, where you can go into several houses that have been there for a 100 years or more and get treated with hot spring baths.

Had the water there when I visited a few years ago. It was unique in terms of taste. Tasted like spring water from the mountains almost.

Bath isn't called "Bath" because of the word 'Bath,' The place was named Bath first and the word came to mean place of washing in England. The place name is the origin of the word, not the other way around as he implied at the start.
