Angels are largely relegated to the realms of mythology and childhood fantasy. Most people never think about them. But angels are very, very real. Martin Luther commented, “An angel is a spiritual creature created by God without a body, for the service of Christendom and of the church.” He was partly correct, but angels serve an even greater role than being strictly for the church. Their ministry objective is principally concerned with the glory and majesty of God. Let’s explore some of the noteworthy traits that angels have.

I had a young Angel awaken me 1:00 in the morning. I had a fire in my laundry room. Tapped me on my arm. It walked toward the corner in the toward my laundry room. Than disappeared. I checked in the hallway. I could smelled.electric whirring burning. It was put out. Thank you God. ❤️🙏🙏

I had an acquaintance who became obsessed with angels. She boasted the biggest collection of little statues and pictures in her living room. I know Abba Father has a design and a purpose for their existence but I think an over emphasis in them isn't healthy. As an aside, I hv heard somewhere that in Islam they claim the arch angel Gabrielle as being significant... Thank you for the right perspective on these beings. Understanding they are present in our world should never distract us from casting our sight directly into our Mediator and Savior, Jesus. 💓🙏

Sarah Ward. We are not alone. I have angels that come to visit me and minister to me every night.! There were Angels back in the beganing and if you have enough faith will see angels. I have always had a guardian Angel.!

Skip I'm not even arrogant enough to think that I can correct you because I am certainly not a preacher of any kind but you said Daystar was a title for Lucifer and I want to remind you that Joni lambs TV program is called "Daystar". Did you mistakenly say that or is her TV show a show about Lucifer? I'm just kidding I know that her show is not about Lucifer but isn't "Daystar" a reference to Jesus?

The KJV and NKJV both translate “morning star” as “Lucifer, son of the morning.” It is clear from the rest of the passage that Isaiah is referring to Satan’s fall from heaven (Luke 10:18). So in this case, the morning star refers to Satan. In Revelation 22:16, Jesus unmistakably identifies Himself as the morning star. QUESTION Why are both Jesus and Satan referred to as the morning star? Jesus and Satan are like lions in very different ways. The idea of a “bright morning star” is a star that outshines all the others, and Jesus is the One who is called “bright.” Satan was a morning star. Jesus, as God incarnate, the Lord of the universe, is the BRIGHT and morning star. Jesus is the most holy and powerful “light” in all the universe. So, while both Jesus and Satan can be described as “morning stars,” in no sense is this equating Jesus and Satan. Satan is a created being. His light only exists to the extent that God created it. Jesus is the light of the world (John 9:5). Only Jesus’ light is “bright” and self-existent. Satan may be a morning star, but he is only a poor imitation of the one true bright morning star, Jesus Christ, the light of the world."

REVELATION CHAPTER 4 VERSE 3 3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne. Before we examine this verse I want to look at EZ 1:27-28 - 27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. No one has ever doubted that God the Father is described in these verses. When John is called up to the throne room in Revelation Chapter 4, the voice that calls him is that of Jesus. Everyone agrees on that also. Doesn’t it strike you as odd that Jesus does not seem to be present in Chapter 4? Let’s look to the Bible to clear up this question Hebrews 1:1-4 says: In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. Does this help you to answer the question of where Jesus is in the throne room in chapter 4 of Revelation? It is interesting that the rainbow encircles the throne. Let’s look at John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” In Ezekiel the rainbow was not said to resemble an emerald. That vision occurred before God’s Son became man. The emerald is used as a descriptive phrase because Jesus is from the tribe of Judah, in fact Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Judah was the fourth son born to Jacob. In the KJV the emerald is the fourth stone in the breastpiece of the High Priest. That is not so in the NIV or the NASB. However, I’ve never asked a Rabbi or a member of a Jewish Historical Society who does not say that the emerald is the stone of Judah. Rev 4:3 is a magnificent description of the relationship between the Father and the Son.
