Over 30 years ago I went to a new dentist who told me I needed 6 fillings. Suspicious, I went elsewhete. 30+ years later with other dentists and I've only had 3 in that time! So there is definitely *some* other kinds of fraud the other way too.

Well done on standing on your principles and not buying the mower. The thing that annoys me the most is the reluctance to take cash for expensive purchases like cars and houses due to money laundering rules. Whatever happened to cash is king?

I was quite shocked to hear that it costs £9700 -- perhaps out of naivety, I was expecting something more around ~£2000. With that amount of money changing hands, you'd think they'd have better customer service than... that, lol.

I have never done any of that "I got the cash" ready to go! The relief in seeing a dentist reasures the pain is going to be gone soon! 💯Also i am an IT expert and back in the day doing repairs or upgrades i used to get can we pay you "next week" the week that never comes! So i can fully appreciate your rant and totally agree!

For any lab work, at least half of the treatment fee should be paid before the scan / impression goes to the lab. Ideally, the full fee should be taken at the fit appointment, before the work has been fitted

yip, gets less worth by the minute, by inflation..... and the Tories cant do a thing about it, like the last 15 years!

Take payment before work, I'm happy with my dentist and have no issue, justice system has failed I would remove all these legal leaches

If the card don't fit the person... Mate you'd have a field day with me then, cos i don't give a toss how i look, so i can only imagine the look on your face when i lay down an American Express Black card, and the look on your face when your on the phone doing the code ten and amex is on my phone checking the place I'm in is authorized.
