With the territory at risk of being sold for copper mining to a subsidiary of Rio Tinto, resident Wendsler Nosie has set up a protest movement from his tipi, alongside his daughter and granddaughter. With no support from the courts, Wendsler and the community are anxiously hoping the Biden administration will pause the land transfer. With religious freedom and environmental protection at risk, they await the call with further news

Don't stop fighting, just because a sacred land doesn't have massive temples and castles doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to be perserved.

I would argue that it makes it twice as important to save...natural spaces are dwindling, so yes save their land from any development. Positive vibes from New Hampshire and remember to be kind to each other and yourself during this pandemic and social crisis

says the guy on the computer that requires copper for electricity ...... it's like everyone thinks all these resources jusy fall in our lap from heaven ..... You want copper ??? Gonna have to mine it , you want oil ??? Gonna have to drill for it ..... If not , give up all your comforts these resources provide ...... Be a REAL "environmentalist" , stop using the products , go back to the stone age

The more I understand about our planet, the more my heart breaks to see humanity destroying it. I cannot imagine a more beautiful world than the natural one comprised of symbiotic inhabitants sustaining life itself; like a perfect dance. And I cannot imagine a more horrific world where it is destroyed for profit.

first of all, you are genuinely pathetic if you think we committed those atrocities because we wanted to. all we were doing was defending our territory, so in logical terms we had every right to fend the europeans off. the foreigners were the individuals who began the fighting, so dont start blaming us now. you are just immediately taking their side without understanding our perspective. next time id advise you do some research before making some absolutely absurd comment, and get a grip of what truly happened very much appreciated
