I ACTUALLY FELT IT WHEN SHIT WAS PILING ONTOP OF HIM, HIS ELATION WHEN HE RECEIVED HALF HIS COMMISION, HIS HEARTFELT SMILE TOWARDS HIS DAUGHTERS WORDS! Man’s predicament is the unsatisfactory nature of his desires! Buddha calls it Dukkha! French existentialists try to explain this endless desire by “Horse and Carrot.” In the middle age in Europe the horse cart driver used to fix a carrot just one inch ahead of the horse on the cart. Poor horse thinks that he can catch it by galloping faster but always the carrot is an inch ahead! Poor horse gets at last nothing but frustration and anguish! Buddha advices us to live in the present moment and to enjoy the present instead of going to past or future because only the present exists! Extremely well executed plot....very effective and I love how the love in among the three of them(husband,wife,and child) was brought out amidst this life situation.....very touching that was....finally a note from Buddhism 'Thanhaya Jayathi Soko'....'love of material things will always lead to unhappiness'.....thank you for a great production.

Its always the crazy concepts you have in your mind you put in to art in different forms since you were a school kid. And now you are here! :) Can't wait to see more work from you broh. There are so many elements that should come together for a film making project to be a successful one. I am sure you will come up with more brilliant creations in the years to come. Great short! Good production, good acting, sound to everything. I assume the filmmakers have taken inspiration from Locke... but the structure works for this. The only gripe I have is with the ending. While it was never going go work out well for the protagonist... this way out felt like an easy way out. I thought the character would have even handled the situation calmly. But overall great work! DO ANOTHER ONE! All power to you Sahan.
