The Children's War (2003): Northern Uganda is being terrorised by violent attacks from the Lord's Resistance Army - an army comprised of abducted children.
Subscribe to Journeyman here: kzfaq.info_c...
Every night, an exodus of thousands flee from their villages to the town of Gulu. They seek refuge from the violent massacres and abductions carried out by the LRA. For Thomas, escape has come at a high price. He peels back bandages to reveal his amputated lips. The army has already abducted over 8,000 children who are brainwashed into becoming killers themselves. "Sometimes I dream about the three people I killed," sighs one abductee. Uganda's lack of valuable oil or mineral resources means that it is left at the back of the queue for international aid. And the question of how to deal with a child army remains unanswered.

The UPDF was very powerful so idk why they had issues with the LRA when they were fighting in DRC against other militaries and had recently purchased many weapons for that war. These days they have much more modern equipment tho.

@Dx Fire Yeah, I see the compassion of white people everyday Dx Fire, especially in the comment section of every video of delicate topics. Either they write jokes at the expense of other races' misfortune, or they want to minimize a person of another race whose efforts are aiming to self improvement, or they are talking in a very sneaky manner concerning the power struggle between their race and an emerging one. Not all whites of course, it depends of the country too, but I've seen it all the time, everywhere, even when there's no race involved in the conversation, someone always wants to paint it white, for his/hers own sake, even if it's a fake one.

@@eddygiron2390 nobody hates africans except for a few nazis. We are just tired of being blamed for everything bad that happend in Africa . Colonialism has ended a long time ago
@eddygiron2390
@eddygiron2390 3 жыл бұрын
@@AK-hi7mg Well, not exactly accurate AK 464. A system was implemented after colonialism, an economic system, a strategy, to keep Africa "in line", domesticated if you must put it that way, where some get the benefit of filling their bank accounts at the expense of cutting off Africa from supplying it's own food, instead of having the need to buy that food from european countries. Of course, inside corruption also helped a lot for this system to take over the finantial situation of Africa, there's no denying of this fact, but the strings are moved from outside. Few nazis you wrote? Ha!!!, we wish! You see, from a psychological standpoint, every "white" person has the potential to be racist, because all humans can discriminate, and racism is just another form of discrimination. Now, some and I mean a few, considering how many white people are in the world, have been able to overcome this mental issue concerning skin colour, but most, have an inner nazi within, that only comes out when they feel threaten by "foreign" forces or "alien" forces. (Edited part) For a moment, I thought you were african, my mistake. Just take in consideration the first 2 paragraphs of my reply then AK 464. My advice, ignore them, that's the best way to handle nasty people of all sorts, try to be happy with what you have and do your best to improve your situation, learn as knowledge helps a lot; increasing your abilities whether physical or mental and not letting your defects as a human being take over your mental state, are the key to a better life. If you feel lazy, fight it, don't let it control you, it's very important. The same applies to other negative feelings, you have to counter them, before they get difficult to handle. The mind is very powerful, but one MUST learn to use it. Excellent nutrition is the key for better brain performance, but I'm realistic, africans are not well fed and therefore, it can impact your mental concentration. I had an awful nutrition as a kid, but because I had an enemy to fight very early in my life (school bullies and my mother), as a 9 year old, I repeated myself every day to get more intelligent no matter what. I didn't think it was going to happen, as I felt very stupid back then, but now, the result still amazes me. Maybe you can teach your children that, but I'll tell you what doesn't work, trying to defend you and your people against every enraged foreigner is not going to help your life and that of your family. I know it's hard for you africans, but the only solution is to concentrate in getting better at something, rather than defending yourself against every hater. It's just going to fill your heart with more hate, and that's, what THEY want.
