I am just surprised that the Turkeys weren't spooked by the music you were playing.

Hi! I have followed you great work before youtube, and is really inspired from you videos. So good to now have all of them here on the channel. Keep up you work! Because of you and other great wildlife vlogers I was inspired to take the leap and do the same in my place. Focusing on birds and wildlife from the nordic nature. Best regards!

Thank you for the kind words. As for the chair blind, it’s made by Ameristep Hunting Blinds. I’m not sure if they still make it or not. Try a google search, I’m sure ebay probably has them. Thanks’ Doug Gardner

At last! Actual PHOTOS! I'm so tired of videos of somebody standing there blethering about his camera and his view of Life - and we don't see any photos! And I like the music. You explain stuff from the get-go.

Great stuff Doug! When you were photographing the wild turkey, did you use a call or any type decoy? I rarely had any birds come in without using, at least, a call. Thanks for sharing you advice and adventures!

Doug I am looking at buying my first telephoto lens. I am looking at the Nikon 200-400mm f4 and the Nikon 500mm f4. Do you have any recommendation between the two. My thoughts are the zoom on the 200-400mm give me more options versus the 500mm prime.

Where did you buy your chair blind?

These turkeys are very like the Helmeted Guinea fowl we have here in South Africa. They're bigger with prettier tails but the guinea fowl spook easily too.

Were you ever in the Army? I get this...feeling about the way you're explaining things. Like there should be a sniper rifle somewhere in the equation.
